This was the most amazing bridal shop experience ever! Both Charlotte & Ruth were so extremely helpful, and not in a pushy, trying to make a sale way but genuinely wanting to find me the perfect dress. Since my first visit there they've been so supportive and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They allowed us to take pictures from the very start and even helped to adjust the dresses for shots. I'd visited a couple of dress shops before this one, which had very different atmospheres, and was so surprised to feel i could let my guard down in Amaryllis Bridal and be the vulnerable bride that i felt. Ruth and Charlotte have guided us through the process and found me my dream dress, they went out of their way to make sure i was happy with what i was wearing and were so thoughtful and caring. I cannot recommend this wedding dress shop highly enough, they've been amazing! Thank you so much, i will walk down the aisle feeling like a princess because of you! :-D xXx

I’d heard about Amaryllis through a friend who adored seeing their dresses while she worked at wedding fairs. So I knew it was the one shop I wanted to visit, and after meeting Ruth at a wedding fair with my friend, I knew they were passionate and caring about their brides and the dresses they sold.

When I turned up to my appointment, Charlotte was the kindest and most patient person, making it easy to relax and enjoy perusing the many beautiful dresses! There was no pressure to pick instantly and no pushy attitude that I’d experienced in other dress shops... And on this visit I found THE dress!

The journey from then was made so easy, Amaryllis’ attention to detail and slick organisation meant that everything has run smoothly right up until this point. I am due to pick up my dress on Thursday to be married on Friday!!!! Thank you so so much for all your help and your positivity and friendliness! I will forever speak highly of you ladies and your wonderful business �

Thank you so very much for the amazing help recently, you and your staff put me at ease in what was initially a nerve-wracking & daunting experience, but after not long I became much more relaxed and at ease. You all were incredibly helpful and I really appreciated you giving honest advice and at no point did I feel pressurised into making a decision or that I was being given the 'hard sell'. Such a wonderful shop! Had the place all to myself, and Ruth was so lovely and helpful. The second dress I tried was “the one”. But I could easily have chosen any, they were all so beautiful. Ruth helped me customise the dress with a gorgeous belt that I had attached, and in choosing the perfect veil. It was fabulous on the day, as I knew it would be! So for anyone that knows me, wearing a dress is sooo out of my comfort zone. After being part of my sister's wedding and having the pleasure of being bridesmaid and having the wonderful staff at amaryllis do all the stunning dresses for her it was a no brainer for where I was going to go for my wedding dress. Ruth made me feel so comfortable and within 2 hours I had chosen my dress along with accessories which accompanied my dress perfectly. I can not rate Ruth and her staff higher for their help and there passion with customer service to go that extra mile. Thankyou so much !!!

Please Please Please! Give these lovely ladies a try when your looking for dresses! Definitely recommend booking an appointment so they can spend time with you and support your shopping. Ruth and Charlotte are very knowledgeable and could answer any questions I had no matter how silly. The range of dresses are great for narrowing down exactly what your looking for and there's a good supply of off the rail sample sale dresses too. Never felt rushed or pressured into a decision and it was great to take my time with the dress. I'm now in the fittings stage and they've been very helpful with suggesting Aniko and allowing the appointments with in shop. The only thing I can suggest is make sure you look at the dress near the window so you can really appreciate the beauty of it! Sometimes the soft light it's harder to see the details but I am a glasses wearer so it's no fault of Amaryllis! :D they also helped hugely on the veil and shoe options!

She managed to squeeze me into 7 different dresses, i loved a couple of them but fell head over heals for one. Just over 4 months later and i went back Saturday to try my dress on. I just didn't want to take it off. Thank you to charlotte for helping me into my dress and to choose my veil. Absolutely amazing experience and ill definitely be suggesting you to all my friends. The dress would also not have been possible without the most amazing dress maker, Aniko who works really closely with Amaryllis. She worked magic on it, adding the lace sleeves and fill in on the back and chest. She made a beautiful dress even more elegant and great for someone who hates having their arms bare!!
