AmbaSat is a private limited company formed in 2019 based in North Yorkshire. AmbaSat design and build low earth orbit space satellite kits, which are the foundation of a new class of ‘sprite' satellites. AmbaSat kits are used in educational, scientific, and exploration missions which include deep space, earth observation and planetary science. AmbaSat's goal is to deliver practical STEM-based learning and to put an AmbaSat-1 space satellite into the hands of every student & every aspiring engineer and space explorer. AmbaSat Space Satellite CourseThe AmbaSat ‘Build Your Own Space Satellite' course is aimed at 13-year olds and above and is used in schools and universities in the UK and around the world. The 'AmbaSat Satellite Kit' and 10-lesson course introduce students to the world of space engineering and exploration. Each of the 10 lessons lasts approximately 90 minutes and are a combination of theoretical and practical, the lessons reach across the curriculum. Students build their very own space satellite which can later be launched into low earth orbit, allowing students to receive data for analysis. The AmbaSat course brings the STEM /STEAM learning journey to life and inspire students.
