One of the oldest professions in the Sherry triangle is the Venenciador. Part of his role is the extraction of sherry samples straight from the cask so that the quality and taste of the sherry can be determined.
Try your hand at this beautiful art form as we’ll have a sherry barrel and Venenciador on hand to show you the ropes. Learn how to carve Jamón Ibérico with one of our skilled chefs, experience the excitment of a Flamenco Dancer and Guitarist all followed by a sherry & tapas paired dinner tutored by Tim Holt from Barbadillo!

Our annual event last night we held for our good friends at Atlas Caravans. A great evening of classic pinxtos, tapas and wine followed by live flamenco dancing with a guitarist throughout.

We're pleased to announce the winner of our Yum! Food Festival competition! Our winner will receive a dinner party cooked in their own home by one of our chefs!

This month we are proudly supporting Hull Civic Society in all the hard work they do to promote and preserve the wonderful city of Hull!
Hull Civic Society promotes the city to its own people & to visitors to show off its rich heritage & place in history. They work closely with planners & local companies to seek improvements to the built environment through new developments, renovation & conservation. Their major annual project is Hull’s Heritage Open Days; a European & Natio...nal heritage festival that opens up closed buildings to the public free of charge every September.

CHIEF in Hull help local children and adults living with Cystic Fibrosis by fundraising for equipment and other essentials to make life living with CF that bit easier.
We're helping CHIEF make a difference in Hull this month by fundraising for them. We're asking all our tapas lovers to add a voluntary £1 donation to all bills in aid of them. We'll then be adding an additional £500 to all the funds raised :)

Went to Ambiente last night party of 8 which included meat eaters, vegans and vegetarians! Catered for everyone so well and staff were helpful and the food was so tasty! We will be back thank you x

We came here last night at last minute due to another restaurant having very bad service.. well staff was brilliant great atmosphere and the food was amazing. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back �5*

Very clean environment spacious booths with a dimmable light. Great service very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful food, was happy to cater for our vegan diet and I know meat lovers enjoy it here too! Our waiter was named Rob and he did a great job on making it an enjoyable for me and my partner

Never been before and I will go again great service with the smile and the PAL bread was out of this world for me love it

My family of 6 went here to celebrate my sons 30th birthday, we didn’t know what to expect but I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. The staff (specially Rob) were extremely helpful and very efficient. The food was really good and the service was excellent - thanks to you all for making our night so enjoyable.

Loved it! Food was fab and services was fast! Got seated in a booth so lovely for a date night! Staff were nice and friendly.. prices were good we got the sharing tapas for £30 for two people which was 7 dishes and they let us change one to a different one as we didn’t like it! Will be back soon thanks guys �

Just back from having lunch and I have to write and let people know how tasty and enjoyable it was to experience a welcoming venue and fab menu. The best bits were for me the beef and the chorizo dishes and the fresh salad. But the show stopper has to be the fab creme brulė just beautiful with the homemade shortbread. Attentive and friendly waitress too. Thanks for an enjoyable lunch.

Had a very peasant evening here yesterday. The food was wonderful..so much choice ! Staff were very welcoming and friendly and service was good. Looking forward to another visit soon .

Had a really lovely lunch here today. The bread and oil starter was lovely and light. We had around 8 different tapas dishes for the main course all of which were beautifully presented and very tasty. A mix of deserts to finish the meal off were also really good. Great atmosphere and food. Only sorry I was driving so I couldn’t indulge in the sherry although the shot I had with my ice cream was very nice. Can see myself whiling a few hours away here quaffing sherry in the future ��

Excellent for vegetarian & the best i have tried up to now. I have lived in Spain definitely not traditional tapas which is a good thing. I loved it & will be booking to take our friends here.

Excellent evening. We are a fab meal last week in York, fossgate and thought it was the best but Hull have won hands down. Absolutely smashed it! Except for not having the chilli pepper roulette!

Came in for lunch today with my husband, in laws and 15 month old baby - so glad that we did !! The food was amazing and service faultless; thanks so much for entertaining my baby, assisting us with food choices and ensuring that we had a truly brilliant dining experience. We will be back !

Amazing lovely food, very good service from very polite and sociable staff in very stylish surroundings. All of the tapas we ordered tasted really amazing. They were very good with my Dad’s shellfish food allergy bringing my a laminated guide as to what foods contained traces. Also recommended a lovely sherry to go with my dessert too! Very enjoyable experience and would recommend to anyone ��

Went last night and it was busy but we got a seat straight away.the service was great.lovely staff and fast service aswel seen as tho it was busy.we had the introduction to tapas which was really nice.just the paella rice was a little under cooked and the meatballs a little bland but all in all a lovely meal and an amazing pudding.will definitely be back to try something different.

The mixed meat platter and the meat balls which we got first were lovely so we had high hopes that everything else would also be really nice, we ordered the calamari at the same time as the platter but it came about 10 mins later, when it came we couldn't eat it because it was chewy and stringy and the batter was under cooked and soggy- so we left those.



We then ordered the belly pork which was okay but wasn't great- also left some of that



Then we ordered the sea food and chorizo paella and the lamb rump, the paella tasted absolutely bland and really wasn't very nice- I had one mouthful and left the rest, (my boyfriend had one mouthful and spat his out)



The lamb rump was extremely under cooked, it was just 4 little bits of almost raw meet on a plate which was chewy and tough and he couldn't even get his knife through it to cut it up to eat, but it looked so undercooked he didn't want to risk eating it anyway!

Very disappointed as we went with high hopes for nice food for his and his brothers birthdays!

Wouldn't recommend to anyone I'm sat writing this still feeling sick �
