WHAT IS A BONDED WAREHOUSE? A customs bonded warehouse allows businesses to store consignments, stock and goods with duty or import VAT payments suspended. Often your goods will be shipped into our facility as one large consignment which needs to be broken down (picked and packed) as it is sold. Once these goods have left the bonded warehouse the VAT and duty must be paid unless they are re-exported or moved to another customs procedure.
