We hired our wedding suits from Amelia's on the 23.06.2018 and couldn't be happier with what we received. Our five groomsmen and Groom looked extremely smart and the staff was brilliant. The suits was great quality and the whole process was made easy. My mum also bought her wedding outfit here and again the service and product was amazing. Would highly recommend.

To All the girls at Amelia’s, I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the service I received when looking for my perfect dress. All your staff are absolutely amazing and made me feel really at ease. Picking a wedding dress is so difficult but you honestly make it 100x easier. These women are absolute QUEENS! my boyfriend happened upon their store whilst looking for some safety pins as we were at a wedding round the corner and my dress completely split from top to bottom! The lovely owners told him to get me here so they could help me and literally they sowed me back on my dress. Even when they were busy! So grateful to these amazing women! They literally saved my day, such a perfect job you wouldn’t even notice it was damaged! can’t describe what lovely people they are, they even tried to say I didn’t owe them anything �� I will 10000% be back for my dress thank you thank you thank you xxx

I was recommended Amelia’s by a friend who also bought her dress here. From the second I walked through the door I knew that I’d be buying my wedding dress there. The girls are so friendly, and they make you feel so special! Happy smiling faces as soon as you walk in. The whole process of buying my dress was seamless from start to finish - I really cannot recommend Amelia’s enough. They genuinely care about how you want to look and feel and won’t stop at anything to make you happy! Thank you so much ladies!

I love it my wedding dress and everyone love it also! Finally we was married last weekend on Saturday and very happy with my wedding dress ��

I have not worn a dress for over 10yrs, so when my Son announced he was getting married the panic set in. I thought I can’t wear trousers so it would have to be a long dress and being a larger lady I knew it was not going to be easy. Walking past Amelia’s one day I thought I would give them a try. As they had nothing in a longer length for me, Kath asked why I did not try on a short one just to see how it looked. Ended up trying five outfits on and I would of been very happy in any of them. So not only did I have my outfit and hat when I went back to have a couple of minor adjustments done I even got some very constructive advice from Jo regarding accessories and I don’t just mean shoes and bag. So the wedding day arrives and I felt a million dollars.

So Jo, Kath & Lynn thank you so much for making me feel fantastic on this special day. �

I can not thank these girls enough, we had bad experience all day with other wedding shops ... snooty owners, shops that left us completely alone and one that said don’t book and had to go back 3 times ... total nightmare .. until we went into Ameila’s, beautiful shop amazing staff, completely got where we were coming from and the result was amazing and nice little cups of tea and coffee ... the experience was as lovely as the dresses ... also we had lots of laughs �

I can not thank the girls at Amelia’s enough! In particular Danielle for helping me to find the most perfect dress for my special day & jo who ensured that my dress fitted like a glove on the day! The moment i stepped foot into the shop I was made to feel so comfortable & at ease & nothing was too much trouble, all the girls are so friendly & made the whole experience so enjoyable. I am an older bride and had a dilemma as to what style of wedding dress I wanted or that would suit me . I went to Skipton as I had seen advertised in another bridal shop a dress I thought I was looking for but the dress was not for me By chance I found Amelia’s and the perfect dress. I was at first reluctant to buy a dress from a shop in Skipton as I live in Leigh and knew I would have to make a few journeys . I decided to order the dress as the lady in the shop was so helpful. The shop in Skipton has now closed but there is the shop in Clitheroe I have now collected my dress and I can’t wait to wear it. Amelia’s also had the perfect shoes which they ordered for me and I collected them today. I would like to thank everyone for your help and would have no hesitation in recommending Amelia’s �

Can I just say even though I still have a year to go, all the girls at Amelias have been quite simply amazing, from the bridal team to the menswear to mother of the bride and groom ... you get the same personal, friendly, helpful, stress-free treatment from each and every one of the ladies! Brides look no further Amelias “A” team will have it covered 😘

Amelia’s in Clitheroe was the second bridal shop I visited, I must admit I had set my heart on 1 of 2 dresses in the other shop so wasn’t expecting to find THE dress, but I did! All the staff are very friendly and welcoming, and there was that ‘little something’ that made me not want to go back to the first shop.

They have a beautiful selection of gowns and I was never made to feel rushed whilst I was trying them on, and given my second bridesmaid was running late they were accommodating enough so she could see my final choices. Bringing my Mum back a week or so later, we were treated with the same friendly welcome, they had already pulled the 2 dresses out so that they were ready for me to try on again the final choice was made and ordered.

When it came to the bridesmaids dresses they wasn’t a decision to be made as to where to go, we returned a month later and found a suitable dress for both my teenage stepdaughter and adult maid of honour.

At each of the fittings we had, we were all made to feel very welcome. Jo was wonderful and helped me choose my veil.

I wouldn’t hesitate to send any other brides to Amelia’s as their service really was 5 stars. Thank you all so much for helping me to find my dress of my dreams, I really felt like a princess wearing it! And the bridesmaids didn’t look that bad either. Sally xx (& my bridesmaids Debbie and Liv)

Amelia’s have been amazing helping with picking the bridesmaids dresses. We went back to them to hire the men’s suits as well nothing was too much even when we rang up the day before the wedding when a suit didn’t fit the father of the groom they sorted it out in time for picking up the rest and the dresses later that day would definitely recommend to anyone xx

Amelia's were absolutely amazing from fitting to collection! They have an incredible range of bridal wear and are great at narrowing down your ideas and assisting the selection of the perfect dress. I adored my dress. I just wish I could wear it everyday! Perhaps for dress down day at work?!

Amazing staff. And I absolutely loved my dress for my wedding. Jo was so helpful and friendly and made me feel at it ease as soon as I entered the shop.

Got so many comments on how beautiful my dress was. So wish I could do it all again.

My wife and I both managed to find our dresses here and the staff were amazing in helping us to find them, keep them secret from each other and in altering them to be completely perfect.
