Myles Dorn does it again ! - lap record down to 35.089 on his second attempt today - we then gave him a free session for his achivement so he just went out and smoked it down to 34.889 !

Lap record broken again ! customer Myles Dorn managed to get it down to an amazing 35.095 last Sunday - these are the best set of karts we've had for a few years, looks like a sub 35 second lap is within reach

Seasons starting to get busy now so we will be looking for one or two part time assistant marshals to help us out mostly weekends upto end of October - details on our website http://www.amencornerkarting.co.uk under the "Information" tab then "Employment".

Looks like the new karts are nicely run in now and are giving more power than the last set - Sam Barratt got a 35.226 today which is the best we have had for several years, especially given the heat out there today and a busy track - might have to run a monthly competition for best laptime, say a £20 voucher to winner

Summer hours finally here ! - open till 6pm every day for Arrive&Drive (last session at 5:30)

Phew ! - 18 new karts delivered - starting prep, should be running tomorrow morning from 11am

Unfortunately the recent bad weather has caused havoc with new kart delivery - now scheduled for Tuesday 13th March

14 days to brand new karts on the Pro circuit

All junior karts now have brand new GX160 engines fitted !

We will only be closed Christmas day, Boxing day and New years day this holiday - open as normal all other days.

Time for new karts ! - just ordered 18 brand shiny new JK2's for the Pro circuit - scheduled to be delivered 6th March. Will also be refurbing the Junior karts with new engines in Feb.

We will be looking to hire an assistant marshal to work Sat/Sun for the summer season (possibly a second one to cover 2 weekdays. Minimum age 18 years, starting at £7/hr then £7.60 after training.

New lap record on the Pro circuit - 35.363 set by Matt Emery !

No owner driver evening this Wednesday (28th Dec) due to weather - freezing fog forecasted - hope to put one on next Wednesday

Note to all owner drivers - as most of you are aware we are now running on Wednesday evenings instead of Thursday. This time of year we need at least 8 drivers to put their name down before we'll run it - don't just turn up, get your name down first !

Phew ! - 9 cubic metres of concrete later and job done, just a bit of sweeping up tomorrow and we should be open by 11am as normal (and owner driver evening should be running ok).
We can recommend 'WeMixConcrete Ltd' from Tuxford - on time, good quality concrete, no mess, good price and best of all it's mixed there and then to the exact amount required at the rate you can work with.

The 550m circuit will be closed all day Wednesday 6th July while we lay some concrete to enlarge the run off rumble strips on bend one - if only drivers would stay on the black stuff.....

We brought our soon to be 10yr old son this morning for his first time Karting, this place was just perfect for him he absolutely loved it! Great friendly staff, was brilliant with him and put him at ease, will definitely be seeing us again soon �

Took my soon to be 10 year old son today with 6 of his friends ... they had a great time! The guys were really nice and friendly and the set up was good,.. both my kids want to go back so 10/10 !

Took my apprehensive 8yr old to originally try out the dual karts. After a chat with a staff member who gave fantastic instruction my son decided to drive alone. A fantastic place and very friendly atmosphere

Took my 9 year old grandson and he absolutely loved it well worth the money great set up.

The staff are lovely, especially with the kids. Great place to go, really good fun :-)

First time at this track. Great karts, challenging track. Bit embarrassing having to go on the kiddie track first to show I can handle a kart but then went out and beat the track record. Rules are ruIes I guess. Can’t wait to return and try and pop in a 34 sec lap.

Me my hubby and 3 kids aged 5,7 and 9 all went yesterday,we had so much fun and the prices are good too,£40 for us all and our eldest was in his own kart,I would definitely go back

Me and my 14 year old son loved it . We had a great time . We talked about it for hours what a laugh . After I felt like I had been to the gym . Staff were fantastic . The print out is great to see your lap times etc . Would recommend massively. Can't wait to go back .The best I have been to .

Loads of fun on Phils Stag Do. Body feels more battered from 50min of none stop racing then it did Paintballing. Well worth it though.

Had a fab day go karting,went with family from centerparcs for our sons 16th birthday,staff very friendly and proffesional,all in all a fab day.

Great track the lads love it, just turn up the staff are very good never have to wait long and the karts are good too.we use this place every time the lads want to kart race ☆

Great setup, the guys that run it are really chilled they cater it exactly to your groups desires, there was no rushing between the two sessions gave us time to analysis the first session times, talk racing lines n then we said ok let's go again. Highly recommend it, especially if like us you are staying at Centre Parcs over the road. It's a brilliant activity at non centre parc prices. It was very wet we went but don't let that put you off just makes it even more side ways fun!

Great karts for the kids & Adults - very enjoyable 👍🏻

Go to Amen quite a lot as groups of adults, family groups and we also bring our Cub Scout group once a year. The staff couldn't be more helpful, everything is so professional and safety is always top priority. Thank you!

First time here today, first time go karting for my 8 year old son. Can honestly say the instructor was fab with Liam and very reassuring. Such a fun experience. Thank you, we will definitely visit again soon :)

Called in today for arrive and drive (staying at sherwood pines). The fella was welcoming and the site/track was kept very well , the karts had good performance. All in all good value for money £30 30mins. Cheers.
