Great cheap bowling with nice atmosphere but can be really busy dependant on time

Went bowling today at bury with 3 friends. Online it says "closing on a Sunday at 11.30pm". Got there at around quarter to 9, lady at the till told us we could pay £11.99 for unlimited games all night. 10pm came and the lady explained because it wasn't busy they were shutting early. There were over 5 customers on the arcade machines and 3 lots of customers including ourselves on the bowling lanes. She then switched us off half way through the game, which was not nescessary as everyone didn't start leaving the arcade until around 10.15pm, Which meant we could have finished our second game. I think it's wrong that it's advertised as closing at 11.30pm online and it's rude that we got turned of midway through a game. I will not be going back.

Clean and tidy with food and drinks. Friendly helpful staff. A fun day out.

The atmosphere was really good. The staff were very friendly and we had a giggle with them. Would def go back again.

Bowling in bury is and always will be a bit pricey and busy, but if your looking to have a good game and want some food this is the place, when i visited it was a bit busy and some arcade machines weren't working. and the food was a tad on the greasy side.

After our visit on new years Eve we all left very disappointed. Just booked a lane for 19.10 to be
Left waiting till 20.00 .so while waiting we tried a drink at the bar which only one member of staff was serving ..the bar area was disgusting drinks all over tables bits of food on floor .when I finally got served not only was there no lemonade or no diet coke .the slush machine wasn't Working in got served a coke in dirty glass..when we finally get our Lane it closes down on game 9..while this was going on another member of our party tried to get some drinks only to be told there was a private party at 9 o'clock and couldn't have drinks. Absolutely ruined our time and wasted our money in the place ..
