Amnesty International Portsmouth (Student Group)

The Amnesty International Portsmouth (Student Group) is an Amnesty International offshoot within University of Portsmouth Students' Union, composed purely of students from all over the world who gather their inspiration, capacities and connections to demonstrate for human rights. AIUP draws attention to human rights issues by taking part in unique actions including protests, marches, campaign actions, petitioning and fundraisers. Awards & Honours: 1. Winner of "Best New Society" at the UPSU Student Award night 2010 2. Winner of "Best Individual Fundraising Event" award in the 2010 AI Student Raise-Off 3.
