These days, admin is much more than filing and processes. Although they are still an important part of a business' existence, we often consider any job that isn't the purpose of our business to be 'admin'. That might include social media, email marketing, blogging and so much more. At a certain point (usually as soon as possible) it's a great idea to outsource these jobs to someone who knows how to do them better and who will do them for a lower price than your hourly rate. Until then, and even afterwards, it's good to have a basic knowledge of how these systems really work - for you.
