an amazing bijou cottage situated right on the rocks above the sea at Portmellon Cove near Mevagissey in Cornwall. An Dyji means tiny cottage is Cornish and although this place is tiny what it lacks in size it certainly makes up for in style and location. Recently refurbished to a 5* standard the property sleeps 2 in "upside down" accommodation. An open plan kitchen dining lounge area makes the most of the sea views from the upstairs. Really well located for exploring all that this beautiful county has to offer , An Dyji is the perfect couples bolt hole.

We booked the cottage on a bit of a whim one night, very last minute. Amanda very kindly pulled out all the stops and got the cottage ready for us to go within 48 hours of the booking. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and the view from the lounge area is lovely as it overlooks the sea. With the windows open, the sound of the sea and the sea birds is very relaxing. We stayed for three nights and wished it had been longer. Portmellon is a lovely place and is only a few minutes from Mevagissey, which is a lovely little town. I imagine it's much busier in the summer which is the time we'd normally go but the weather was perfect and we really couldn't fault it.
We might be small but we definitely pack a punch 👌😊
Please please never let your dogs near seals hauled out in a beach. This is an horrific example of what not to do.

This is where we've been for almost the past week. We couldn't have chosen better and if a couple are planning to visit Cornwall this is the perfect place to stay.
I may well be biased as it's family, however, I got to see it before it was totally finished and it was stunning back then. Now it's absolutely beautiful and as was the case with Seatons Rest the detail that it has been finished with is second to none.
You have both done an outstanding job on this gorgeous little cottage overlooking the bay and once again Mum and Dad would be so very proud of what you have achieved. Xxx
