Nice hotel with quirky decor. The room was smaller than expected and the furniture wasn't well placed, with the bathroom door not opening fully and a full length mirror squeezed into the corner. However, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel guide in the room said breakfast finished at 10.30am on a Saturday but we were disappointed when we arrived in the restaurant at 10.10am and were told the kitchen closed at 10.00am. This hotel is fine for a one night stay, but I'd check with reception anything you read in the room hotel guide.
6 night stay at a really nice hotel. Room and bed very comfortable. Spotless. All Staff very friendly and helpfull. Food superb. Only hint I can offer.. the Chef has Tuesday and Wednesday off so no food available in the hotel. Do not take their advice to visit Tommy Jacks, a sister hotel, the food is not great and not worth the walk to get to it.

Interesting decor with a strongly British theme. Lovely staff. Bright room, spotlessly clean and the most comfortable bed we've found in a hotel anywhere.
The evening menu is limited but well chosen and the chicken and bacon pasta is a delight.
The test is"Will we be going back?" And the answer is definitely, yes.
Really well designed hotel. Looks brilliant and feels welcoming. The staff were amazing too. I'll be back for sure.

Polar Bar was quiet but great Belgian beers and good seating.
Went for a drink at the Polar Bar. We were the only ones there. Nice alternative beers, though limited range. Nice outside area but still too cold to be going to in the winter (even with our coats etc still on!). Big space though, and in the spring and summer will be a really nice spot.
