We booked really last minute and had a really lovely evening here. Staff were fantastic, really attentive and helpful, our waitress took a number of photos of us enthusiastically!!

The food was absolutely fantastic! Most of us had burgers and they were all cooked really well along with really great chips! All served with a smile and at a really reasonable price! Would definitely recommend!

Had lunch yesterday food was superb. Service was good, efficient and friendly . Good range of beverages.

Had a delicious roast today, particularly enjoyed the potatoes which were crispy and fluffy too, and my lamb was lovely. And so much food! Great value for £14

Great pub and absolutely fantastic food also good service from bar staffs.. Will go back again definitely for a Sunday roast dinner and best Guinness (from Ireland).... Nutso&Emma

Been a regular at this pub for a few years now. Excellent staff and a good selection of food and drink; had a roast here for the first time in ages and it’s great to see they’re still preparing quality meals. Love it!

Beautiful, comfy, friendly...nice outside seating, music was great and the food was just gorgeous. I'm still thinking about the fish goujons. Yum yum yum.

Love love love The Ancient Mariner. The staff are legends and the atmosphere is always so great. It’s ridiculously easy to go for one and end up staying all night!

We were recommended the Ancient Mariner so if might just be preference, the coffee table we sat at was not particularly clean with old food & crumbs between the joins & the food was oozing with grease. Not to my liking.
