What a store, purchased the superb Adam Clayton signature P-Bass in purple sparkle via click and collect. The part ex was very fair, yes you'll get more selling privately but save yourself the time, hassle and the fees and just chop it in with Andertons they have a clear and fair policy (its on their website) the click and collect was easy, loved that I could drive from Somerset and park right on their forecourt (bonus) . Finally the staff what a friendly and enthusiastic bunch genuine interest and a great vibe. Can't fault the experience at all! 5*

These guys are frankly fantastic. I found them on the internet when looking for an amp. Spent some time on the phone asking for advice, exchanged a couple of emails, then they suggested that what I really should do is come and play with the gear. I live just over an hour away (two in traffic!) so they arranged for me to come down and spend two hours in a private room at the Guildford store, trying out multiple amplifiers.



All of the staff were very patient, willing to spend as much time as needed to answer my questions, demonstrate how things work, make suggestions, etc. There was no hard sell, no pushing for more expensive options, only a desire to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. I walked out with a second hand Blackstar Series One 45 Combo (which they helped load into my car), and I am thoroughly happy with my choice.



When I got home, I unpacked and set up my new amp, played for a while...and then realised that I had left my watch at the shop! It’s a rare limited edition pro trek, imported from Japan, and I would have been loathe to lose it. I phoned the store, the guy who answered immediately went down to the room I was playing in, found the watch and promised to post it to me. The next day I got a courtesy call confirming that the watch had been posted, and this morning I received it — wrapped securely in bubble wrap and in a box, sent via a tracked service (and they didn’t even charge me. Really above and beyond!



This is like local guitar shops used to be, before the internet shut them all down. The staff are so patient and knowledgable, it was a superb experience buying there, and my next guitar will be bought in person from them!

Shiny new Line 6 Firehawk FX arrived today 23rd Dec, I wasn't expecting it until the 27th; after the Christmas holiday.

All I gotta do now is learn to fly it properly.

From just plugging in and playing I can report that it has many Very good and useable sounds.

Plugged the new Variax in and it appears that nearly all the Presets have an associated Variax model saved in the Preset.

Nice touch.

Received my Casio PX770 the other day from Andersons Music I'm super happy with my purchase, used to play piano 30 years ago now I've retired and have time to start playing again..thanks very much for super service.

Only went in for a look around as I was passing by but as always there's some beautiful equipment around, so walked out with a new snare drum, sales guy (apologies didn't get his name) was grest even before buying let me and my son have a blast on the electric and accoustic kits , he just handed some sticks to us both and said go ahead, sale was quick and easy , always been a great service whether it's online or in the shop and with the 0% finance options makes it so easy and dangerous lol, to build your music equipment collection

If you're looking for a guitar then speak with 'Sir Josh' - I spent a couple of hrs in store playing through various high end Fenders and Gibson and this guy has the ear and knowledge to guide and inspire you. A fantastic dude with relaxed approach meant I had an excellent experience in store because of this guy - highly recommend you visit and seek him out

I love you guys, and your prices and customer service are impossible to beat. I order from you again and again for these reasons.



However, PLEASE stop sending parcels via DPD. They have never made a delivery on time, or even on the intended day of delivery. I’m sure they employ only the bottom 1% of GCSE failures, and they are letting you guys down massively!



I’m a loyal customer, but dealing with DPD is just painful.

I live in Canada and have been in the market for a short scale semi hollow bass guitar. Through various internet searches I discovered chowny bass guitars and wanted to try one out. They don't have any retailers in Canada yet however, so, Andertons being the only music store I know across the pond (due to their excellent YouTube videos) I ordered one through them in emerald burst. However, the delivery to Andertons from the chowny factory has had a few delays, and I decided to change the order to another chowny of a different colour that they had in stock. They always emailed me promptly, answered all of my questions, and were quick to inform me of all delays as opposed to leaving me in the dark. Living in a completely different continent, I would be able to do very little if Andertons decided they didn't want to put the effort into making sure I was well served, but the overall ordering experience has been perfect so far. Can't wait for my bass to show up, thanks Andertons.

I have just bought a boss RC-300 loop station, and a Vox ac15c1 amp in the past from Andertons. Excellent fast reliable service. I highly recommend, and I will be using them again in the future. Many thanks team Andertons.

I got to know about Andertons from their YouTube channel. Since I stay in india, I made it a point to visit their store on my visit to the UK this summer. It was a great experience...loads of options for guitars and pedals...specially liked the tone city pedal collection...bought two of them as well....the staff is great and friendly as well. I'll always be visiting this store whenever I am there in the UK....Thank you

First time buying from Andertons and I'm over-the-moon with how fast the product was dispatched and delivered. The amp and cab that I ordered were extremely well packaged and it was easy to track the delivery all the way.



Chappers and the Captain's videos are also super informative and entertaining at the same time when it comes to looking for information on products.



Andertons will be the first place I go from now on when it comes to buying music gear!

Cannot fault it. Went in as someone who wanted a more serious Amp set up but needed some pointers on how to do that and they guided me every step of the way. At no point did they try to trick me into getting something more expensive than needed and every member of staff I came across was friendly and helpful. Particular props to Dave in the Guildford store who talked me through my Blackstar purchase and even helped carry the stack to my car afterwards. Superb guys and will go again for all my guitar needs.

Andertons are doing an amazing deal on the Fender Ltd Edition Silverburst Jazzmaster. I have never done business with Andertons before and for me I got a great deal on this guitar. They even gave me points where I had another great reduction on a Feedback Creator Pedal. Both items came and the delivery service was excellent. I will do business with Andertons again and can recommend them. Many thanks Andertons for helping me to be able to afford this guitar.

Absolutely love this place. Ordered a whole new pedal board set up online on Monday, delivery was meant to be Tuesday but unfortunately it was delayed. I called on the Tuesday morning, as I was up in the area from Devon, and the guys arranged for me to pick up my gear instead of having to wait an extra day. No fuss, great customer experience! So, I get there and end up not only leaving with my brand new pedal set up, but 4 additional pedals and a new PRS!! �� From start to finish I was totally looked after by the knowledgeable and friendly team members. Nothing was too much trouble. The kit they have is unbelievable and the prices are pretty good too. Will definitely come back for a Victory amplifier in the future.

One of the WORST online music shop ever encountered by me. My first order experience was a L6 Helix after which it was cancelled and refunded. My second order which is current order, Hudson Dual Broadcast, ordered on end of April, delivery date was pushed till early June. Then, pushed to 20th June, and then pushed till 20th July. Worst encounter ever. Not a single orders from me ever fulfilled successfully. Buyers BEWARE.

LOL, just LOL. A couple of days ago I ordered three pickups, a humbucker for one guitar and two singles for another. The order was placed, received, funds verified, everything fine and spanking. The day after my order I receive an email from the mail order staff stating that the sigles weren't in stock (strange, I must have misread about the availability on the site) and that one of them would arrive in early April (OK with me) and the other one in August (not OK, I need them quickly). I think about that for like half a day and write back, kindly asking if my order could be partially canceled, meaning that I would give up on the "August" pickup and keep the other two. The guy was probably in a hurry and didn't even care to read my request properly, so he wrote back to me saying that he had canceled my FULL order. I wrote back once again stating that I hadn't asked to cancel the full order but just one pickup: no reply whatsoever. I tried to contact the shop about the misunderstanding with the "ordinary" contact form, but no reply. This has been my first and surely my last attempt at buying something from Andertons, it's been one of my worst customer care experiences ever, and thanks for the waste of time! At least my refund has been quick (I wasn't really optimistic on that). NOT recommended.

Extremely disappointed with the ‘stress free’ return/exchange policy. What this ‘stress free’ policy doesn’t tell you is about the hidden charges involved. After being informed about these charges I looked for them on the website and after some time, eventually found them. I had a choice of an exchange for £20 or a return for £15. I’ve decided to return the item myself for £10 and go elsewhere for the item I need with free delivery. It’s a shame that I chose to buy from here rather than Amazon (I like to support local businesses) but will next time stick with the companies that give a better customer service...I would have got free return with Amazon �.
