AndesCrafts is an ethical brand and project, which promotes the unique arts and crafts from South America. We select the finest products, which rescue the traditions and designs of our artisans, to bring to your homes, whenever you are. We are based on Cambridge, UK and we currently deliver to all UK, Europe, USA and Asia. We currently support two Chilean communities of artisans of long tradition, one is from Aymara origins with a rich tradition in alpaca. The other is the unique horsehair woven tradition, of the Association of Women Artisans of Panimavida, Chile. Both communities, though in Chile, are very distant from each others, being 2300 km away. Despite the distance, they are both connected and their work can be recognised beyond their locations, thanks to AndesCrafts. AndesCrafts support the artisans and designers by helping them in the creation and manufacturing process, by innovating through the rescue of their traditions in their designs (fusion modernity and tradition), promoting the products by online catalogues, showrooms and exhibitions in museums as well as in ethical shops and finally in the commercialization process of their products abroad. The final aim, to keep them valid, and sustainable as producers and artisans. Creating awareness of their cultures.
