Andinum is an organisation which aims to understand, preserve, and disseminate sustainable methods of textile production in Latin America. It also aims to promote the cultural and artistic value of these methods, and their role in shaping and ensuring an identity and a future for the craftswomen and their art. The technological simplicity demonstrates how impressive their skills truly are. As you can see, the aesthetic achievement is a prowess regardless. To stress further the immense quality of these textiles, fashion professionals have designed luxury clothing items. This is why these sumptuous textiles are presented here as works of art, in dialogue with the photographs of their makers. We have organised exhibitions around the UK and France and we are planning to expand throughout Europe.
