"New private dining menu preview night"

Starters... ~~~~~ Summer vegetable soup served with herb and parmesan croutons (V). Halloumi, roasted butternut squash and red pepper samosas served with cucumber and mint yoghurt (V). Crayfish Caesar salad with tomatoes, croutons and parmesan. Chorizo sausages cooked with cider and bay leaves.
Main course ~~~~~~~~ Slow roasted shoulder of lamb on a buttered creamy mash, roasted root vegetables, red currant, port and balsamic reduction. Provencal fish stew served with saffron aioli crostini. Moroccan spiced chicken breast with apricot, walnut and mint couscous. Aubergine parmigiana served with baby leaf salad and homemade focaccia bread (V).

We are looking for a part time chef. 2/ 3 days a week plus holiday cover for the head chef. They will be working on their own in a busy kitchen serving locally sourced, good quality food. Where would I be without Andrés ? The cafe is two doors away from my shop. There is always a friendly welcome, great coffee and lovely menu.

When my husband and I visited Wells we visited Andres cafe and loved it. Staff are friendly and food was lovely. Highly recommend if you are visiting Wells.�

What a find! Food was beautiful high quality. We had the eggs and ham and the lamb kofta. Lemon cake was so light just melted in you mouth. Fabulous

We had some absolutely delicious slow roasted lamb for lunch. More of a top end restaurant meal than a cafe. Well done to the chef

We always go to Andre's when we visit Wells. The staff are excellent & friendly, the food is restaurant quality & delicious and overall it is just a nice place to go and eat. Can't recommend it enough.

It may not be big, but it is pretty much perfect in every way.

The environment is pretty and comforting; the staff helpful and efficient; and the food is fresh, delicious, and consistently good.

I started enjoying the delights of Andrés when It first opened up in Wells and even though I have moved away since, every time I have to go to Wells I always make a point of allowing some time for lunch there.

Fantastic! Definately more bistro than Cafe. The 16 hour slow cooked lamb is wonderful. A gem of a place !

Excellent service and food at a keen price, the young lady even brought a bowl of water for the dog without any prompting. Fantastic place to sit have a beer/coffee and people watch.

Better than the pub that has a menu and doesn't serve food. Wells, say no more. Pork sandwich was more than delicious.
