Just received a batch of fab new pens and can't wait to 'roll out' these bad boys - I just know that caricaturing with these it'll be huge noses, big ears, long bushy beards (and that's just on the Ladies!! 😂 )
I'm eager and ready to 'stretch' faces and 'tickle' some ribs (and then I'll caricature 😂 ) - in fact the Vain and the Humourless may be offended when I use these beauties!!!!

Occasionally I step 'sideways' and post 'off topic'.....
We recently took 'time out' to see the much 'hyped' Queen biopic 'Bohemian Rhapsody' - a film that has certainly 'divided' the critics, whom many in my opinion seem to be completely 'off track' (pardon the pun ) with their reviews - perhaps due to the global success of the film, humble, pie and eat spring to mind for those same critics!!
This is a (sensational) Biopic of QUEEN, not exclusively a Freddie Mercury biopic a...s many critics (in my opinion) perhaps misguidedly would have us believe - naturally as Queen's flamboyant frontman Freddie will feature very heavily in the film (and why not?) as would Jagger if this was a 'Stones' biopic, but essentially it's a story about Queen, their amazing 'highs' AND 'lows', their (truly outstanding) music and their 'meteoric' rise to fame and fortune - yes it does take a little 'Artistic' licence (but isn't that what Art is about after all?) during the movie, particularly on the chronological order of certain dates and events etc, but nonetheless this is an absolutely joyess film that is an 'emotionally charged' celebration of Queens intricately crafted music, their 'highs and lows' that culminates with their epic 'Live Aid' (comback) performance that was absolutely sensational.
Critics will of course be critics, (by default, have I now joined that ever growing group?) I suppose that's their job, but with Queen and their music through the decades I cant help thinking many (of those critics) have had (and continue to have) an 'hidden agenda' regarding Queen and their music - in my opinion many seem to be completely 'off the page' with their reviews of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' - after all this it isn't a 24 - 7 diary account throughout the decades, it isn't a 5 hour epic, it's more a 'snapshot', an insight into the bands formation, their music and their 'ups & downs' during the time they spent together - we just 'immersed' ourselves in what is an incredible (and informative) film that will have you finger tapping, foot stomping, laughing and crying in equal measures, particularly with the truly phenomenal (and uncanny) performances from both Rami Malic as 'frontman' Freddie Mercury and Gwilym Lee as Brian May, a soundtrack of 'monster' hits that will be embedded in our subconscious mind long after those critics have 'moved on' to 'dissect' countless other films (and maybe perhaps eat a little humble pie whilst doing so!) - it truly is an outstanding film, enjoy it!!

Alfreton Hall was THE place to be yesterday - we had an incredibly busy day at Bridefayre's superb wedding fayre - a HUGE thanks to Merv and the team, a HUGE thanks to everyone who popped by and had a chat with us and the 'BIGGEST' of thank yous to everyone who booked yesterday.

Entertaining Martyna & Damien's lovely 'fun' guests at their fabulous wedding reception at Stubton Hall on Friday made the 120 mile 'round trip' just 'melt' away - with lots of laughter and brilliant reactions to my caricatures it just doesn't get any better!! - if you are 'looking in' guys, thanks a million for booking me
One or two favourite 'snaps' from Martyna & Damien's fantastic celebrations.

All 'Suited & Booted' ......with shirt & trousers pressed, shoes polished and all equipment packed, I'm ready to create mischief at my first wedding of 2019 - a little later I'll be 'heading out' to entertain at Martyna & Damien's wedding reception at the lovely Stubton Hall, Newark.
If you are 'looking in' guys, have an absolutely fantastic day and I'll see (and caricature!) you both and your guests a little later
Today's fab venue .......

One of the most wonderful aspects of my work is the opportunity to travel and meeting such lovely people on my travels - during my time working away over Christmas I met Tom Crosbie and Tom's lovely fiancée Emma - Tom is an extremely talented and 'gifted' entertainer, whos act (dare I say) in some way defies description, Tom is known as 'The Performing Nerd' and not only did I have the pleasure of meeting Tom & Emma, but experienced Tom's incredible talent at two of his shows and I was truly mesmerised by Tom's amazing talent
If that wasn't quite enough, Tom gave me an 'impronto' performance on meeting him again - I can honestly say that Tom & Emma are two of the nicest people I've met and they truly made my Christmas so very special - if you are 'looking in' guys, thank-you SO much and thank-you Tom for the 'Rubik Cube'

Back in the UK today and getting 'organised' for my first wedding (tomorrow) of 2019 after spending a superb Christmas and the New Year caricaturing from Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Oslo - what a great start to 2019, happy days!!!!
