How much body fat/weight should we be aiming to lose per week? 🤔
This one obviously depends on how much body fat you have to lose and wish to lose, but the short answer is as much fat as possible whilst maintaining good energy levels and preserving muscles tissue. Your body is not stupid, if you’ve taken your training and/or nutrition too far, it will tell you off, you’ll feel crappy and your performance will decrease.
A good guide to follow for safe and sustainable weight/fa...t loss is to aim for a 0.5–1 kg loss per week. Having said that, you need to focus more on listening to your body!
People can often panic when they lose fat rapidly, but if you’re not too hungry and are feeling good, then there’s nothing to worry about, you’re doing great! Unless of course it’s an unexplained weight loss, you’d then need to seek medical advice.
In summary: If the fat is flying off you, you’re continuing to get stronger, feeling energised and sleeping well, then you’re doing great! 👏

Shopping & Ingredients List:... 240g Plain Flour 1 tsp Salt 4 small Eggs, beaten 2 tbsp Groundnut Oil 300ml Skimmed Milk 20+ pumps Cooking Oil Spray 40g jar Mincemeat 1 Orange, juice only 100g Raspberries 1 tbsp Icing Sugar
Method 1. Blend together the raspberries & icing sugar until smooth. Use a fine mesh sieve, pour the raspberry mix into a jug through the sieve. 2. In a small saucepan heat the mincemeat with the orange juice. When simmering take off the heat & Blend smooth. Put into another jug & keep warm. 3. Preheat the oven to warm, a low heat. 4. In a mixing bowl stir the salt into the flour, then whisk in the eggs, oil, milk & 200ml of water until smooth. 5. Heat a small non-stick frying pan over a medium-high heat & coat with cooking spray. 6. When the pan is hot, pour in a quarter of a ladle of batter. Cook for 1 minute. Flip the pancake over & cook for a further 30 seconds - 1 minute. Cook the pancakes in batches. Keep the pancakes warm in the oven on a non-stick baking sheet. Place a piece of greaseproof kitchen paper between each pancake to prevent them from sticking together. Add extra pumps of cooking spray to the frying pan as needed. 7. Make the pancakes into triangle shapes, overlapping them slightly to make a Christmas tree shape. 8. Drizzle the mincemeat mixture over the tree to represent garlands & dot the raspberry mixture as bubbles. See picture.

Wow! Just wow!! I don't even know where to begin, which aspect of Andy's programme should I single out, that played the most part in me loosing over 2 stones in 6 months on the run-up to my wedding, while starting to build up some muscle too. I can't, because his plan works as a whole!

What can I say. Andy completely understood my personal circumstances and designed my plan to cater for it. My goal was to build my muscle mass back up again with all over body workouts and boy we achieved this. My body shape has changed, my thighs, arms and back have developed so much. My plans were a good mixture of working different body parts which really kept me interested. Andy is always there to listen to me and change things on my plan where it seemed fit. Started with Andy 3 months ago and he has changed the way I think about exercise and food completely. 3 months ago I was doing at least 5 exercise classes a week and going to the gym to do cardio and play squash on top of that, plus I was watching what I was eating but seeing no improvements. In the past three months I have done next to no cardio and I am eating more food than ever(just more of the right things!) and drinking as much as I want :D I have loved every single minute of the programme, its kept me on my toes and you record all the weights and reps you do so you can see that you're improving as the weeks go on! For anyone who is tired of going to the gym and pounding the treadmill all the time and not seeing any change I would thoroughly recommend Andy, he is not only a really nice guy but a great personal trainer too! Just finished a 3 month PT programme with Andy and I have to say it's been very impressive.



I'm 35 now and I've made more progress in these 3 months than I ever have in 17 years of pottering around in the gym not achieving very much.



The programme helped me to stay focused and push harder than I have before. Knowing I had a certain session to follow meant that I stayed that bit longer until everything was done and ultimately that's what pushed me on. Also previously I would avoid excercises I didn't like or find enjoyable which ultimately left me weak in certain muscle groups.



I've gained around 6kgs (just under a stone) and increased muscle mass virtually all over (5 inches on my chest � ). In particular have noticed my strength has rocketed.



I can't say it doesn't take some dedication so don't assume paying for a PT instantly entitles you to improvement.



Andy was motivational and encouraging throughout. He had to adapt quite a few sessions to allow for injuries and availability of equipment at my particular gym.



The weekly feedback and contact you have with him means that you can constantly adjust and adapt your sessions to meet your goals (even if they should change mid programme).



Value for money is exceptional when compared to conventional side by side PT services but you must remember to be disciplined with yourself (because no one else will be) and also take the time to really watch the instructional videos to make sure you adopt the correct form when performing the excercises.

I’d never really considered an online coach before but I came across Andy’s website and I was really impressed with what he was offering. I emailed him and he replied within hours, we had a chat about goals and what I needed. Andy really listened and his enthusiasm was infectious. I logged straight online and started with him then and there. 4 weeks in and I’m amazed with my progress so far. I've been training with Andy since November and in that short space of time, I've came on so far. Everything has improved. My nutrition is better. I'm fitter and stronger and have more energy during the day. I was recommended Andy by another Pro-Fit training, i came lost deep into a restricted diet, try to train with no consistency and ended up injuring myself. I have a history of poor nutrition which Andy has taken on board and agreed to take on the challenge of training me. At first he stripped back my training, whilst this made me anxious im so glad i listened to him as building back a good foundation has enabled me to progress well beyond my expectations.



He has helped me gain a healthy relationship with food again and increased my intake at a pace i've been able to manage and when i've had doubts he has always been there to offer advice and support me. He has allowed me to have input into my programme and gone the extra mile to show me exercises and review my techniques which is amazing considering im on online client. I started training with Andy to help me recover from an ACL reconstruction and found his programmes and advice to be excellent. He helped me understand more about the right blend of exercises vs cardio and the importance of nutrition in training. I have always been physically fit, but I have always been fat, i just couldn’t understand why.



Andy has been awesome in stripping things back to basics for me and helping me get to grips with my nutrition in order to supercharge me weight loss and muscle growth. I can't recommend Andy enough, I started training with Andy 3 months after a having a baby I was desperate to get my old body back as quick as possible.



Andy put me on a realistic eating plan and has changed my plan perfectly adding in things when I have asked for it and always being available to my many many questions . I have so far lost over 2 stone in 4 months and I would never of done it without him being there each morning ready to push me through it, he motivates me when I have had no sleep (thanks to the baby) and I genuinely feel like he believes I can do it which makes me train harder and stick to the eating plan (although I add in wine ). Andy is a fantastic personal trainer! For the first time in a long time I feel like I’m looking after myself properly which is thanks to his nutrition and exercise support. An absolutely fantastic experience.
