Anevay have been making stoves since 2003, although we originally started designed stoves for the aid world. Our stoves have been sent to disaster zones worldwide and have saved thousands of lives. According to the World Health Organisation, more people die from respiratory disease than from Malaria or AIDS. One of the main causes of this is people cooking all their meals on solid fuel in an enclosed space without ventilation. Usually it is the women and children at home cooking, and therefore they are the ones who suffer the most. It was important to us to find a way to feed and provide warm to people without having a negative impact on their health. This is why our stoves either have a long flue to transport fumes away from the user, or burn smoke free. We have extended our range to include stoves designed for the general public, but humanitarian aid has never left our hearts.
