During the summer of 2014 the idea of the Angel Inn Coffee House was thought up by Julie and her son Karl. Six months later in Spring 2015 the doors opened to its customers.
After several months of hard work and planning, and a full renovations project by undertaken 'Total Renovations' of Felixstowe the new coffee house took shape and starting serving tasteful hot drinks, and homemade cakes and lunches.
Serving to the people of Walton, Felixstowe and surrounding areas and to vistors to the area Angel Inn Coffee House has had some brillant feedback from members of public. Many often asking how the coffee house came about. . .

With the building aging back to at least the 16th Century, having many purposes during it early years, including an Inn, meeting house, lodging house, sales & auctions, hiring of servants, inquests & magistrates petty sessions. During 1937 the doors of what was then an Inn was closed to the public, with part of the building being demolished in the 1950's, and now with a full refurbishment is the Angel Inn Coffee House.

With the coffee house offering freshly prepared food and hot and cold drinks it has brought a meeting place for local residents, passer-bys, and vistoring tourists. With early opening hours during the working week the coffee house gives an ideal oportunity for people to stop in on their way to work to collect their take-away lunches, or an early morning coffee.
The Angel Inn Coffee House now also offers a pre-order collection for its food, allowing local businesses to ring ahead their order, enabling its workers to collect their lunches without the hassle of waiting.

In Feb 2016, The Angel Inn started to open its doors for evening trade, doing Tapas style food.
