This looks like a pretty boring picture but to us this means a lot. After a year of asking many, many salt companies in the UK to work with us to deliver salt in large quantities without plastic... and getting nowhere and many point blank refusals. We finally came across Jethro @dorsetseasalt who has been up for it from day one. We found the bags, and he sent the salt to us in perfect condition.... it is that easy! Not only is Dorset Sea Salt the nicest we have tried but it also tastes better because he cares. Made our week!

It has been an amazing 2018 for us at Angela’s and we have loved every minute of it. We open again on January 4th and there are still spaces available for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy tonight and see you on the other side.

CHRISTMAS OPENING HOURS. We are taking a well earned rest over the festive period. We will be closed on Sunday 23rd of December and will reopen on Friday 4th of January. We hope you all have a brilliant Christmas and a wonderful New Year. See you in 2019.

Set lunch menu this week.... looking autumnal but delicious. The summer is over and we apologise if it has been hard to get a table over the last few weeks but we are back to normal now. Call us on 01843 319 978 or email us for a table.

We are incredibly proud to have been announced as The Good Food Guides winner of Best for Sustainability in the UK. I think they liked our cooking too... ‘The restaurant’s formula of impeccable sourcing, minimised waste and pared-back cooking has proved a triumph’ We try to run our business so it has as little impact on the environment as possible but it takes a lot of hard work to achieve that, and all we can say is thank you to all of the team at Angela’s for always doing that little bit extra. And a special mention for Windmill Community Gardens working with us to make amazing compost. We do this because we believe in it but it makes a lovely end to our first year open!

What an amazing place! The variety of fresh and locally sourced fish is incredible. Our table chose most of the options to share and marvel over the delights! Of particular mention are the brown smoked prawns, mussels in cider and garlic and the scallops which were tender and cooked to perfection! Well done team and looking forward to our next sampling visit! X

Went for lunch today absolutely loved it! The smoked prawns were delicious and the gunard cooked perfectly. Summery dishes, light and seasonal well executed food!! Will be going back very soon!!

We had a fabulous meal here today .I had smoked trout which was divine , followed by cod with creamed Kale. The cod was beautifully cooked with tasty crispy skin and the creamy Kale was delicious .To finish I had junket and honeycomb which was a delicious combo ( haven’t had junket for years and this was a much more delicate take on it) . All four of us loved our meal and look forward to going back .

We came across this restaurant by chance on its first night of opening so we booked a table for later in the week. What a place! Incredible food cooked just how we like it. Loving the no waste ethic. We didn't waste anything. Totally recommend.

Totally delicious. I had the best vegetarian meal I have had in years. You must try the roasted cauliflower with potato & rosemary dumplings. Staff are super friendly 10/10 �

Simply fantastic! From starter to dessert this is an absolute delight! Eaten there twice and an outstanding experience both times!

Just eaten the most beautiful meal at Angela's... Absolutely perfectly cooked sea bass, amazing sea trout, stunning fish soup. Wonderful location, great team of people making eating at Angela's of Margate a first class experience, laid back and friendly, 5 star food. We'll be back, over and over.

If you like your food fresh, local and sustainable then Angela’s is for you. Cooked to perfection and without fuss, the Ray Wing and Hake dishes we chose were beautiful.

We ate at Rocksalt and were underwhelmed, but Angela’s exceeded our expectations. You can’t beat simple, fresh ingredients prepared sympathetically and served without over embellishment. We’ll definitely be back.

I'd been looking forward to trying Angela's on the recommendation of an old work colleague and it was every bit as good as we'd hoped. Our lunch of roasted sea bass with samphire, Turbot with tomato ragout, and then apple cake with salted caramel ice cream was superb. The menu wasn't huge but thats exactly how it should be for food honest honest, and to use only the best of what's local. Service was friendly and warm and the prices are more than reasonable for what we ate. Angela's is destined to become a local gem, a great addition to Margate's seafront, cant wait to go back.

I ate one of the best meals I have eaten in a very long time, I urge everyone to book in to Angela’s....although don’t make it to busy as I would hate not to be able to get a table when I need one. Thank you Angela’s for a fantastic Saturday afternoon ��

Honestly the BEST meal I’ve had in a very long time. The quality of the sea food and the selection of dishes were amazing, every dish was perfect. The wine Devine! The desserts were delicious and the service was so relaxed and friendly, but very efficient. Honestly perfect, we will be back!

Had lunch on a chilly and breezy Saturday and was transported to a place of wonderful flavours and amazing service. My 11 year old daughter thinks these are the best roasted potatoes she has ever tasted and the Jerusalem artichoke, beetroot gratin with walnuts was to die for. Thank you Charlotte and the team and thank you Rob for letting me see your Harrison oven which is how all food should be cooked. I love this place and everything it stands for (they are the only restaurant I know who recycle their food waste in a Ridan at a local community gardens - how brilliant is that). 5 stars without a moments hesitation!

Had a fabulous lunch yesterday with my friends for their birthdays. We were really looked after and the food was excellent. Hake was cooked to perfection. Followed by home made Bakewell tart, yum yum. Will be back.

Had a LOVELY meal here on Saturday evening. The restaurant itself was intimate, extremely stylish yet simply decorated and had a lovely atmosphere (with some great soul tracks playing in the background!). The food was amazing - again, simple and without too much fuss, just great produce, great flavours and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, attentive yet relaxed and made us feel very at ease. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone (in fact I already have!).

Fabulous lunch; the hot-smoked prawns were delicious, the fish soup was so good , and the mussels abundant and gloriously plump in cider and garlic. Simple ingredients well prepared and beautifully presented. Recommended

Excellently crafted fish dishes that tasted amazing. A beautiful setting and wonderful service, my new favourite place to eat!
