Our Valentines menu for Tuesday 14th February 2017

Just a quick reminder for this years Christmas parties.

We have completed our Christmas party menu. If this is of interest for a party small or large this December please let us know. Christmas day lunch is also available however you will need to book soon as we are almost full already, and I haven't done the menu yet.

Wonderful place to eat. It's run by a husband and wife team. The food it fabulous. The wine selection excellent. If we come here again we'll definitely go again.

What a storming find in Exeter, if you want great food, cooked in view, made with love & served with a huge smile, look no further. Angela's is an absolute beaut and a very refreshing change to Exeter's normal national fayre found in most towns in the UK.

We were well looked after by Angela. The steak was perfection and the wine to complement the steak was great. I even explained that I needed more carbs and so got bigger portion sizes. Looking forward to our next visit.

My partner took me here for my birthday last night, the food was absolutely delicious, it was a real treat. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed and I especially loved my special birthday dessert! Thanks so much, we will be back!

Lovely warm comfortable restaurant serving beautifully cooked French-influenced food.



On arrival you'll receive the warmest welcome from the owners before sitting down at one of the comfortably spaced tables. The whole place is reassuringly calm with friendly attentive and efficient waiting staff.



Food is well cooked by the chef/proprietor to a high standard. It reminded us of our time living in the Dordogne which is high praise indeed.



All in all a great place and one of only a small handful of independent restaurants in Exeter. A refreshing and tranquil oasis away from the noise and hassle of the High St chains.

Lovely jacket potato and cheese, I'll be back! Perhaps add some baked beans next time.

Just lovely. Also Richard the chef came to speak to all the customers at the end of service. So nice to see as many chefs just hide in the kitchen. We will be back.

It was our second visit and we could not wait to get back to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The whole evening was fantastic. Richard's Parfait to start, followed by Chateaubriand, and wonderful desserts! Lovely welcome, great food, great place. Looking forward to our next visit.

Had such a lovely evening, food was spot on and the service was great too. I had scallops, which were cooked to perfection, then lobster for main, and again was delicious! Can't wait to go back.

Great lunch here and terrific staff.
