About Anglers Den

Established in 1990, Anglers Den, Pevensey Bay, East Sussex is a fishing tackle shop run by brothers Glyn and Kevin Morgan.

Anglers Den Description

Anglers Den, Pevensey Bay, East Sussex is a fishing tackle shop selling sea and coarse angling equipment and bait, run by brothers Glyn and Kevin Morgan.
Both hooked on fishing from an early age, Glyn and Kevin opened Anglers Den in 1990 so they could pass on their enthusiasm for the sport. They have built up a sound local reputation for offering a friendly personal service and expert technical advice, resulting in excellent customer satisfaction. Customers include novice, pleasure, experienced and competition anglers.

Situated in Pevensey Bay on the Sussex Coast, Anglers Den has Eastbourne and Beachy Head to the West, and Bexhill-On-Sea and Hastings to the East. Meanwhile Eastbourne's Sovereign Harbour with its fleet of Sea Charter boats is just over a mile away. The shop's seaside location has lent itself to Anglers Den evolving as the Sussex Coast's Premier Sea Fishing Tackle Outlet - Shore, Boat and Bass. The shop is also situated close to Pevensey Marsh Rivers, and numerous freshwater lakes and it also caters fully for General Coarse, Carp and Pike Anglers.

Last night's Anderida Beach Fishing Club match held in Pevensey Bay saw match winner Keith Erridge (below left) landing 3 dover sole for 1lb 9Β½oz.
Also pictured right is Simon Constable with the biggest fish of the night, a sole of 1lb 3oz.
Sixteen anglers fished a calm night, and the main fish caught were sole and eel.

πŸŽ£πŸ˜€LOCAL SEA CATCH NEWS πŸŽ£πŸ˜€ Mackerel have continued to be caught from local beaches this week - Kevin Morgan is pictured below admiring daughter Emily's catch of Mackerel in Pevensey Bay on Wednesday night just before dark.
There have also been good catches of dover sole from local beaches this week, especially from Langney Point, along with the odd bass if people are prepared to fish with big baits.
... The Nomads beach fishing club last night was won by Gerald Sargeant with 4 dover sole in a match where a number of sole were caught alongside a couple of plaice.

Kevin and Glynn went out of there way to help me.

I'm a beginner and know very little about fishing so I was very happy to see the enthusiasm they showed me. They took the time to talk to me and even showed me how to tie a shock leader.

I will definitely be going back as I start to build up my fishing gear.

Awesome shop, awesome people.
