Anglia Ruskin University
Reviews
The quality of teaching is quite frankly appalling. I would suggest any other university in the country probably over this one for a townplanning masters.
Please think twice before joining this university, there is a reason they are ranked 118th out of 129 universities in the UK.
Not only is the education you recieve essentially non-existsent, but a degree from such a low-ranking university is also worthless in the job market. I would reccomend anyone to think long and hard before considering Anglia Ruskin, trust me you are better off not even getting a degree at all, or at least stay another year in college and increase your UCAS points so you'll be allowed into a decent institution. These universities that capitalise on the government's willingness to provide a student loan to even the most incompetent students should be made illegal.
Is one central and wonderful place.I discovered here people which are interest about to know more about busines,IT,care, hospitality.
Is one great University belive me!I will come back soon!
In my opinion Anglia Ruskin University is even better than Cambridge. It is far more diverse, both in terms of students' ethnicities as well as economic backgrounds. If you don't want to be in a bubble and hope to study with people from all sorts of walks of life then ARU is the place to go. I had so much support from all my lecturers which helped me get a strong First Class Honours in Music (go see them in the beginning of the semester when nobody bothers to).
I have been a part of the Faculty of Medial Sciences. I must say, It was a great experience. you never feel alone. Everybody is there for your help. I found the food served at the East Road campus the most hygienic food. They really work hard to make sure that you have healthiest meal. I also must appreciate library and IT service. Their responses were always quick and effective. I am proud of being an ARU student.
Great to see our British heritage beeing protected under strict application rule great work guy
Good facilities and nice campus close to town center
Good campus. Teaching was really excellent
My daughter went for an interview for the social work course. She was rejected along with all other applicants who were noticeably foreign, or foreign names (the ones that got accepted were all British) Appalling behaviour.
One member of staff in particular, working within the SW department, was incredibly rude to her & offered no sympathy - lovely student ambassadors - but a shame about the staff conducting interviews.
