Research has shown that more than a million of the 950 million chickens reared each year for meat die on the way to slaughterhouses, many from suffocation due to cramped conditions. ... Among these deaths, broken bones and dislocations were also common. Just one of the many reasons to go vegan.

Welcome to Lifeline! Our new, one-of-a kind campaign launching around the UK today on universities and high streets.
Lifeline is the UK’s first campaign raising awareness on two areas of animal exploitation causing harm to the most number of animals at the same time – ‘food’ production and animal experimentation!

WHAT IS A LIFELINE?
- Lifelines are two lines of campaigners - back to back. Each person will hold either a TV/laptop showing videos, a picture placard, or a question placard. Outreachers will hand out resource cards and ask students and the public where they draw the line with regard to animals.
WHY ARE WE LAUNCHING LIFELINE?
- In the UK over one billion animals are killed for 'food' and around 4 million cruelly experimented on.
- Using mixed media, we aim to reach as many people as possible, educating them on the two most exploitative animal industries.

Animal justice IS the issue Its great to know you are out there, so tenacious and focused on reality, an issue that is being pushed further into the background by 'vegan food focus'. Spoke to really helpful person at Rayleigh Fair from AJP.She gave advice on how to spread the word re animal abuse.

So exciting to hear about such a great cause!

Please support AJP and help them irradicate cruel practices by raising awareness and funds to close down all animal testing labs. It has been well documented that these cruel practises are unnecessary and alternative methods can be used. Beagles, ferrets, rats and rabbits are suffering. We must educate future generations, ensuring we stop testing on all animals.

Look forward to volunteering - it's good to see a new project out there to help animals
