This is a really interesting read on how to determine your dog's age based on its size. I have known for some time that not all dog's age at a rate of seven years compared to one human year, but this chart makes it really easy.

These two lovelies are an absolute joy. Molly (foreground) is a Catalan Sheepdog. Utterly charming and completely gorgeous, with just a hint of craziness, I have helped look after her for almost a couple of years now. Her new friend Boris is a Romanian rescue and it is believed he is a Carpathian Shepherd cross Border Collie. He is 7 months old, with a beautiful temperament considering his unknown past (though likely to have been a street dog). He is very food orientated as can be seen in the photos. That poor postman didn't stand a chance!!

My week has started off brilliantly. The sun was shining (albeit very briefly), I got to walk my favourite dogs, and I got to pet sit this little beaut. His name is Ronnie, I have been looking after him for a few months now. I have seen him grow from a little kitten into a young adult and he has just had his big boy operation! Soon he will be off exploring and spreading his wings 😊 Oh and he follows me everywhere!!

There was one puddle in the whole of the park, and this beautiful girl (Molly), found it!

With the bitter, icy temperatures plummeting daily, I thought it would be a good idea to show you this guide. As much as us Brits like to complain about the weather, the temperature for tomorrow, according to the Met Office, will feel like -13 degrees. I think I am entitled to a little whinge!!
Seriously though, I don't care about me. I can add as many layers as my ski jacket will allow, but our furry friends aren't so lucky. Keep outdoor activities minimal and if in doubt, keep them in the warm and dry.

This year is already off to a flying start with customers old and new.
I have been looking after this cheeky boy for over a year now. His name is Noah, he is partially deaf, and I love him to pieces. He also likes to be close!!!

I LOVE SNOW!! I felt I had to shout that to emphasise just how much I really do!! Turns out Max does too. Lola's not so keen.

Last week I had to say goodbye to five of the loveliest pets you could ever meet as their owners are moving onto pastures new. The dogs; Molly (brown) and Charlie (beige) have provided an endless supply of entertainment. We have enjoyed walks and playtime, kisses and cuddles, tug of war and chase. The cats; Becky, Eva and Fauna have chilled with me and comforted me at night when I have stayed over while their owners are on holiday. I have looked after them all for just over two years and they have all given me some very fond memories. I am so sad it is over, but so unbelievably grateful that it began. Best of luck Karin and Tania Candeias. I will miss you all loads xxx

It's not just dogs that get the VIP treatment.
Here are Cari (white and black) and Sprocket (love that name).
Cari was feral up until a few weeks ago, but her new family have been extremely patient with her and she is turning into a very affectionate young cat. She adores Sprocket and loves to play, but most of all, she loves the regular feeding times!

This is the beautiful Kira, who momentarily posed for a photo before being distracted by a squirrel!!

Heidi doesn't do sticks... She does logs!!

One of my clients is regretfully having to re-home her Lurcher, Scratch due to a family break up. This was not an easy decision for her to make, but she is unable to support two dogs on her own and knows that Scratch would benefit from a loving home where he can run around in the garden and be showered with attention.

Tara is great with our challenging rescue husky Casey! Casey can take a while to trust people when it comes to putting her harness on and actually going for a walk but Tara has taken it slow with her,and now Casey gets excited to see her! So it just goes to show the experience Tara has :)



She is flexible when things change last minute and is very trustworthy and reliable.

Tara is a really good dog walker ,she knows what she is doing... knows how to handle and walk my Alaskan Malamute, and he is very at ease with her. I highly recommend her and her services, i will hire her again

She has assessed my dogs individual needs and adjusted their walks to suit their needs. One of my dogs has hip dysplasia.

Tara has a genuine love of animals and our dog absolutely loves her. She even has her very own noises especially for Tara! Tara and her team are reliable, contactable (was always an issue with our previous dog walker!) and trustworthy. I can't recommend her highly enough.

She has continued my dogs training on their daily walks and endured their crazy day to day routine when she house sits. They are always pleased to see her and behave better for her than they do for me!

I'm always kept in the loop about their progress or if there are any problems on a walk or with the house, I am grateful for all the help for all the help this past year.
