Happy Friday lovely #Newark peeps! It might have been a short week but it still seemed like a long one! But thankfully, Ann et Vin is here to help you welcome the weekend. Don’t eat Easter Eggs this year! Why not pop into the #Newark wine shop for some liquid chocolate instead? Ann will be tasting these gorgeous liqueurs by Mozart this Saturday. We’ve got white chocolate, chocolate cream, dark chocolate and white chocolate with strawberries - something for everyone so do pop in!

Yup, this is us too! We prefer our Easter chocolate to be liquid and paired with alcohol! How about you?

Ann has had a great time today with Justin Sims and Edu Pallares from Alliance Wines, tasting some gorgeous news wines that will be in the shop very soon! You are going to love these new wines!
For example, the Cabrida is made from very old Grenache vines (60-110 years old!). It's bright and vibrant with fresh seductive aromas of cherry and red berries; full-bodiedwith light oaky, toasty aromas. Doesn't it sound amazing?
And the Mas Donis Negre is a very clever blend of 50% ...Grenache, 20% Tempranillo, 15% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% SamsÃģ (carignan) grapes. This creates a ruby-coloured wine with notes of cherries and red berries; spicy cake; a fine finish with ripe soft tannins and nicely refreshing aftertaste.

I was having a Rhubarb Gin crisis ïŋ―....Ann to the rescue, “let me take your number and I’ll ring you if I get any more in” - I’d had a phone call within the hour to say she’d gotten me a bottleïŋ― Fabulous service! Thank you so much, Merry Christmas to all the staff xxx

We had a 60th birthday party on 24th April this year,a flapper do!! at Anne et Vins.I can't sing their praises enough.nothing was too much trouble.Anne herself is a diamond,a real trooper and just gets stuck in!!and her staff are exceptional.we have had amazing comments from all our guests(some 150!)about the standard set,the atmosphere,the food and especially the wonderful range of wines on offer!thankyou from myself(Louise)and Richard for such a memorable happy night xxx

Lovely, chilled evening with great music and a really comfortable environment to enjoy a drink and being with friends on a Saturday night x

Lovely meat sharing platter for lunch and delicious wine! Our favorite spot in Newark for lunch!

Fabulous selection from something that little bit special to everyday quaffing, highly recommend a visit to anyone who is interested in what they are drinking.

They let us try any wine and whiskey they had open until we found something we loved. We ordered a bottle and sat in the cafe area to enjoy. They answered all or questions, were extremely knowledgeable and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend!!
