Annies Academy of Theatre and Dance is located in the heart of Pudsey and was established in June 2012 by Annie Bennett, A. I. D. T. A.
The school offers a variety of dance classes in Pudsey for children and adults such as Street Dance, Musical Theatre, Cheerleading and many more. The classes are designed to be fun and fulfilling with a spacious hall and friendly helpful staff.

I’ve received such lovely messages this week about the online classes. I was extremely nervous before rolling them out as it’s all new to me but I cannot thank you all enough for your kind words and sending me pictures/videos of everyone dancing at home. The response has been fantastic. Please can those who haven’t had chance yet please let me know via text/email regarding online classes as the next set of links will go out on Sunday. ⭐️ Dance Challenge Competition ⭐️ Can you take a picture in a dance position/pose/trick. Could you make this creative by using a costume or prop etc? The winner will receive an Annie’s Academy hoodie when we return to class. Can’t wait to see all of the pictures 🧡
⭐️Daily Dance Challenge⭐️ Can you create your very own wake up shake up dance? Put on your favourite song and add some of your favourite dance moves. You can do this before you start your home learning so you are energised and ready to learn or just to burn some energy. Have a great time and I can’t wait to see them ❤️
⭐️ Daily Dance Challenge ⭐️ Can you teach a family member some dance steps? For an extra challenge, can you count while teaching, this will help them stay in time with the music! Good luck everyone X

Really overwhelmed with everyone’s love and support. Thank you so much. I’m currently in the process of setting up a private YouTube Channel just for the dance school. I will upload lessons/videos for all different dance genres which everyone can do at home. It’s all new to me so please allow me a few days to get it set up and videos filmed. Please note there may be my babies and my cat running around in the background 🙈 If this is a success, then it is something I can set up on a weekly basis. I will do everything I can to keep everyone dancing and my dance family together ❤️ please let me know below if you will be interested for your child and I can send you the details once it is all set up. It is with a heavy heart that I’m sorry to tell everyone that exams have been postponed and I am having to close the school for the time being. I am truly devastated and so sorry, this is completely out of our control and I hope you understand. I’ve worked so hard over the past 8 years to build my school which is my life and will now face a difficult few months like many others. I really hope to be back open as soon as possible. Everyone has paid up until the end of March. This will be refunded on the next invoice when we return. I haven’t had a chance to say bye to my pupils and give them a cuddle. Please pass on that I love them all loads, keep dancing at home and cannot wait to get back to class. I will be texting everyone this afternoon so please do bare with me. Im so sorry again. Sending my love to you all X
Hi everyone. Just to let you know that dance class is open as normal at the moment.
The church, my Mum and myself are doing everything we can to keep the church clean. Please can I remind everyone to ask their child to wash their hands before and after class please including parents. Please do not attend class if you are showing signs of being unwell.
Exams will run as normal on Fri/Sat. If anything changes, I will text message everyone. I will be following advice/guidance ...from the government and IDTA.
