I'm delighted to welcome a new monthly workshop involving the art subscription boxes by Make + Wonder. Founded by primary school art teacher Nicola Kirk, Make + Wonder was inspired by Nicola's passion for children being able to lead their own play.
For the workshop each child will be receive a Make + Wonder box which contains 5 fun creative ideas with high quality craft materials for them to explore including a focus on a female artist. In this session we will be looking at a...rtist Frida Kahlo and begin 1 of the 5 activities from the art box. The activity doesn't need to be 'finished' in the time allocated and children can explore and create at their own pace, learning techniques, exploring materials and tools inspired by the artist.
The idea of the workshop is for children to be introduced to the activities, navigate the box and then take their activity home along with the art box to continue creativity at home.

Who?
The art boxes are suitable for ages 3+ due to the small parts, however, we advise the workshop is more suited to children aged 6-12 years. Younger children are welcome as are older children, we trust you know your little ones well enough to decide whether it is suitable for them. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact us.
What will I need?
Just your creativity! All materials and instructions will be provided on the day. For the price of the ticket, children will receive the full art box and be able to continue the other activities at home.
Important stuff
The workshops are non refundable. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the session.
