Our favorite party of the year. A mad night of beer, music, dancing, drinking and party games. As always it's one of the best party atmospheres this side of St Moritz. If you're missing the alps or never experienced a full on Apres Ski party you need to be here for this one. * We've Steins of german beer plus a fully stocked bar,... *Tyrolean music and dancing plus disco with the incredible Manifesto Entertainment. *Apres ski drinking games-some new ones brought all the way over from the bars of Austria - some I'm not sure if we dare try - course we dare, *Shots and Apres ski drinks, *Bavarian and English grub available later in the evening.
Dress code is your best 80's & 90's ski gear or even Lederhosen / Dirndl -you don’t have to but there is a prize for anyone that can beat Malcolms 80's all in one.
The evening is set in our heated marquees and log cabin with full bar and dancing area, It’s the ultimate party venue and our favourite night of the year, your chance for a real Tyrolian party without the air fair.
There is no admission charge but we do need to know you are coming and in what numbers so booking on the guest list is essential. Give me a buzz / text, 07377 536494 send me an email, andrew@anotherworldadventurecentre.c o.uk tick the going button on the Facebook event page. The event has a maximum guest list.

Quick update. We have just the main / evening slope open with the one rope tow. The far slope / beginners slope is quite blown again. The temperature is hovering around freezing, I'd be surprised if we will be able to run tomorrow unfortunately. Access roads are mostly ok and car parks are clear.

User

Last chance of the season? Probably not.

User

Morning all, guess what? We have snow. We will will be open for snow sports at some point, the main problem is the maon access roads which are not good and the car parks which are a foot deep. We will post details as soon as we have them.

User

What a shame, we have a reasonable snow cover but it is now drizzling and melting and isn't likely to last long so unfortunately we will not be opening today.

User

Well that was a laugh, a great atmosphere - makes me even more exited for the apres ski party on the 5th of May. The s=now sports are now closed and It would seem normal activities resume, (until it snows again 😊🏂🏂🎿🎿)

Right, well this is an unexpected surprise. We will be open from 10.30 till 5 or untill the conditions deteriorate to not skiable. The main slope is open as is the tow, the conditions on the ski areas are lovely with a light fresh covering, it is still quite thin. The temperature is still just below freezing and we have light snow. I have absolutely no idea how long this will last, an hour? All day? It will depend on what the weather does over the next few hours.... My advice is if you are travelling a distance and won't be here till after lunch check on here to see if there is a an update. As always the cafe is open, log fire is blazing and hiesal freisal staagg is pumping out the tunes. If yesterday is anything to go by the usual Another World atmosphere will be buzzing.

Morning all. We have had a dusting of snow overnight and the temperature is below freezing. We are hoping to open around 10.30 but as the forecast is for the temperature to rise plus sleet / rain by 10 am we will put a post on around then.

User

Saturday evening post. We will not be opening this evening, keep your eye out for tomorrow morning for an update on conditions.

Might be our last chance if this season is owt to go by

Saturday 3rd March update. All being well we will be open for snow sports from 11am till 5pm today. We have the main / evening slopes running and one rope tow, the conditions on the run s are lovely. The far slope / beginner slope is not running other than for complete beginners as we can't operate a tow on it. We are also allowing kids to bring their own sledges to use in this area but they must be supervised. As a result of only being able to run 1 tow we are expecting to g...et quite busy today. Roads are clear, car park is clear, cafe & coffee shop is open. Cost for own equipment is £15 juniors £20 adults for the day session. Hire is £15 juniors, £20 adults per hour - this includes equipment and use of the slopes / tows. The forecast today is very cold - great stuff, the forecast for tomorrow is for above freezing in early morning with sleet / rain by lunch time so if I had to hedge a bet I would say it is unlikely we will be open tomorrow.

Morning. We are aiming to open from 12 till5 and then 6.30 till 10 flood lit this evening. More details on Runs and conditions later.

User

We are aiming to open at 2pm this afternoon, we can't open earlier as we can't get the car park clear till then so PLEASE don't turn up before as you will not be able to park or will be in the way of the snowplow. Due to the ad hoc situation this season our opening times will be different to usual- The afternoon session will be from 2 till 6pm The evening session will be from 6-30 till 10pm - floodlit. Due to the wind having scalped the beginner slope we can't open this run -... we are moving snow fences around to trap the snow but this takes time for the snow to build up. The main slope will be open as is a small beginner area to the side plus if people are total beginner and can't use the rope tows (we don't allow complete beginers on the tows) there is ample areas to 'have a go' on. Cost - with your own kit is £15 juniors, £20 adults per session, Hire is £15 Juniors, £20 Adults per hour -includes boots, board/ skis etc - please note our hire equipment is now quite old but it is services, safe and functional. Coffee shop & cafe will be open. Can't think of owt else.
