Our Story of Anran:
Set within rolling hills and stunning countryside you will find a grove of majestic grade 2 listed buildings and an adjacent dairy farm know by the locals as “Tidwell”.
The buildings dating back to the 1700′s lay derelict and unoccupied for several years.
In April 2013 the farm was purchased from the church commission of England and a major renovation was undertaken to meticulously restore the property and to convert it to a private residence.
In making this our home and also a place from where we can work we have not only aspired to create luxurious accommodation and a variety of venue rental options but also moved our photographic and design studio on to the premises.
We have also started farming again and are proud to say that we have a variety of animals and planted a whole host of fruits and vegetables that are already being harvested.

Wow.... just wow!!! Taken a bunch of photos for ideas, as decorated perfectly! Lovely to see an old building with life back in it.was on a girls wknd but wish i had brought my dog he would have felt right at home here for sure, but not sure i would have got him back in the car!!! Lol would make great family/group holidays all year round 💜
Wow!! Just...wow!! We celebrated my sisters wedding here this weekend and it is truly an incredible place. The accommodation is simply stunning and finished to a ridiculously high standard. The glasshouse is so unusual and so beautiful it would be near impossible to find anything similar. Thank you so much for everything...highly recommended!!
What a wonderful place to stay. Attended our friends wedding here whilst staying onsite. Spacious and luxurious rooms with all the accoutrements one would expect from a high end hotel, but with a more personal feel. The wedding reception area was spacious whilst still feeling intimate and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend for weddings and social functions.
What a fantastic place to join family and friends for a special occasion! The accommodation was first class and the quality and style of the interior design made us all feel so special. Mike & Edwin are great hosts and have obviously put a huge amount of effort into transforming this former dairy farm into a truly luxurious venue. Kamila was very helpful in the planning and The "Hut" was a fantastic venue for the party and with its underfloor heating meant it remained warm and cosy on a cold winters night! Highly recommended! The most beautiful decor ever. I fell in love with this place and I never want to leave!
The drive in through the narrow path 🚗 was not something we're used to back home especially when it was pitch dark when we arrived, however, the Anran manor 🏡 was just simply breathtaking! The kids went wild when we first stepped foot on the heated flooring😍. The kitchen was more than spacious with 2 refrigerators on either side of the cooker and an equally long Island that would be any aspiring chef's dream. The long rustic dining table next to the Christmas tree 🎄 was just a perfect backdrop for our cosy family meals and quiet after dinner drinks 🍷 . The rooms were fit for royalty with little luxuries like Molton Brown toiletries, warm white fluffy towels, 3- or 4-ply toilet paper and even the scent of camphor in the armoires. The walks around the compound are simply a must and you'll be charmed by the occasional visitor Gibson the dog.
Thank you Mike and Edwin for being such charming, gracious and relaxed hosts. We really enjoyed the luxurious cowshed accommodation (makes a change from the doghouse). You have created something special and we will certainly be back .... Gary, Andrew, Sligo & Jiggly

Breathtaking venue, my best friend chose Anran to celebrate her wedding here and it was magical.
Mike, Edwin and Camilla made sure that every detail was taken care of and have impecable taste!
The manor was beautifully decorated and each room had its charm.

A fantastic weekend, the staff are so friendly and helpful. Our accommodation was 5 Star. Nothing is too much trouble. Will definitely be returning soon, hopefully with the sun!
