Anston Kennels & Cattery

My doggy Daisy loves it here although a little hesistant at first which I expected as she isn’t very good with people but she was very happy and healthy when I picked her up, this year I’ve boarded her here again along with my two Cats and I have no doubt they will all be looked after lovingly.

We left our dog here for a week while we went on holiday abroad. As you would expect I was invited to go and look at the place ahead of time.

The people that run it are very friendly, and genuinely seem to care about every animal in their care. When I visited he knew the names of every dog in the enclosures, and all of the dogs jumped up at the gates to greet him as he passed. He stopped to fuss every one of them.

The enclosures are a reasonable size, and they have a large exercise area that all of the dogs are taken into twice daily, and they have staff there specifically to play with the dogs while outside.

When I collected our dog he was very pleased to see me but also seemed hesitant to leave, I do think he enjoyed his time there.

I've rated them four stars because of their cattery. While they can accommodate cats, they're not particularly large enclosures, and only one of them has a window. While I don't doubt that they give the same level of care to the cats as they do dogs, I do believe improvements could be made in this area.

Edgar stayed here for 3 nights in June and was a happy dog when we came home. He has been to daycare today and when my daughter took him he pulled her down the path, eager to get in - this proves to us how settled and well cared for he was. We will definitely be using these kennels again, lovely atmosphere and the young lady who took him through was great. Thank you and well done on creating such a brilliant place to leave our much loved pet!

My Siberian Husky has stayed here 3 times now and is always looked after very well. Lovely owners.

Superb Kennels, our three stayed 4 Nights. Lovely atmosphere and happy dogs all round. The enclosed outdoor run was lovely and it was clear that each dog was cared for on a personal level. Great service and brilliant pricing. Highly Recommended.
