The tactical prowess in the plate formation of the Turks is phenomenal. • We ordered two mixed grills and two doner and chips. • Pricing: £18.80 for 1x mixed grill £10-12 for lamb doner and chips • Pricing is fair in comparison to other Turkish restaurants I’ve been in Birmingham. • The food was very good. It’s probably the best Turkish place I’ve been to in the UK. (Others include Istanbul restaurant, alaturka, anteps) All the meat tasted great. The lamb for once was actually tender. There wasn’t an overwhelming charcoal flavour which can sometimes ruin the taste. • The sauces were great too, got them refilled many times. The doner was very good too, tasted authentic. We were planning to go to a Turkish restaurant and based on reviews and impression we selected Antepliler and boy it was an excellent choice. I always wanted to try Cig köfte, which is basically raw spicy minced meat. It tasted fantastic and I really enjoyed every bite. I also tried the lentil soup and it was prepared authentically. The Pide was good but not very special. I akso ordered on of the special dishes of the house, the lamb ribs. The meat was tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. Friends tried the adana kebab and they told me it was good. For desert I had delicious kunefe.

I’d say that it’s worth it to visit this restaurant and try some authentic delicious turkish food.

Turkish people are beautiful in their ways!

I have been going to this restuarant for around 17 years. This restuarant and another nearby one were my two favourites in this area. However, since its expansion standards seem to have declined. Specials have become more expensive, which, if standards had stayed the same I could have excepted. However, the food has simply gone down hill. Salads pre meal seem to have shrunk, and lamb chops are tough! This is not something I would expect, especially from a restuarant as renowned as this. Its a real pity, but with a heavy heart, the chances of a revisit are low, and my custom will be taken elsewhere. �
