Sadly his clutch failed at the end of stage 3 as the bell housing was cracked. A massive congratulations to Sam Bennett and David Simmons in their AP Powered Clio. A cracking performance, on yesterday's Blyton stages Rally, they held 3rd in Class all day but a spin in the latter stages cost them the awards, but a fantastic 4th in Class and 22nd Overall. Massive congratulations to both Daniel Godfrey and Kirsty Godfrey for a great performance in 2018 in their AP Powered Class 5 machine. They Both won the Cambridge Club Championships. Kirsty Took the League championship and was the Highest points scorer too. The car was best performance Mini Kirsty took 4th place honors in the British Autograss Series.

Shot of the week. AP3 C21XE race engine being dry built for , CC check, squish etc.

After months of effort from the whole team, the little C2 has finally breathed into life and is almost track ready. Here is a quick clip of a power run cleaning up the map. She has had a Full rewire, in car and ECU. Brakes, all plumbing, clutch and gearbox. Seats, screen and so on, but all ends very well with this project. ECU control is DTA s40.

thank you very much Andrew , superb service and highly recommended , slotted the 205 in for rolling road setup at very short notice and did a fantastic job , transformed the car , will definitely be back again . thanks Dewi and Iwan

Well.... what can i say... not met Andrew before. Despite crossing paths on various cars and builds..



But he offered a hand at silly short notice after i spoke to him whilst struggling with my carbs...grateful isn't the word! A late night ensued...and a few hours this morning. She ended up healthy! And considering the spec of engine. Drives really well after Andrew worked his magic on the carbs.



That and a little supporting visit from Phil at Canems. A little teamwork and shes as good as new...



Massive... massive thanks... much reccomended! Top guys. And bloody clever too!

Transformed our 1600 corsa rally car on the rolling road as it was running poorly and wouldn't rev out. However after only a few hours plugged into the laptop Andrew had it singing bringing it home 12th overall and 1st class B In the North West Stages beating lots of bigger 4 wheels drive cars. Couldn't recommend AP racing engines enough to anyone who has troubles with their engines.

Top bloke and great prices. I will defiantly be back in the future and would recommend to anyone.

Took my car on the off chance for a rolling road power test. The guy is brilliant got me straight in even though he was busy.. friendly and professional guy gave me advice on a few things as well would recommend to anybody very happy with the service he provided me many thanks john

Took my Racing TR4 for a rolling road health check

Spent a very useful and productive two hours getting the engine to run smoothly with very good torque and checked the fuelling throughout the rev range.

Pointed out some things that his different perspective gave him

Went home with a list of things to sort before we go racing

Very useful friendly and productive

The car is more likely to win now ... just need to improve the driver

The service at AP was brilliant needed to have my. Engine final maped and looked over got me in for a session at short notice which has now enabled me to go racing,really knew his stuff sorted out some flat spots ,all in all a enjoyable experience

Thanks again to Andrew at AP Racing Engines. A session on the rolling road and the BMW rally car is now running perfectly with good power and a lovely, almost straight torque curve.

Thanks Andrew for taking the time to sort the issues on my tiger kit car after other so called tuners and mechanics had messed with it.

It was a pleasure to meet you and watch you in action finding the issues, and all after I just turned up to ask your advise on the faults. Thankyou

Spent an informative and productive morning with Andrew, who listened to what i wanted, checked the engine over and adjusted the throttle body settings and map to produce the kind of spec that i wanted. Car made more than 300 BHP and 350lb ft on settings for 95 octane fuel. Overall impression was of a decent knowledgeable man doing a very good job, well recommended!

Sorted out hubbys Westfield today it hadn’t run right since he’s had it! 21/2 hours remap session with a Top bloke and now all sorted and never run so good! Highly recommend!

Nothing was a problem,even when u have the oldest ecu in the world!i was thinking the worse but Andrew Managed to get start the old MBE up again after it locked us out.

Andrew has so much knowledge of engines & tuning & it was a pleasure sending the afternoon with him.

And i was very happy with the bill at the end.Value for money & will be going back for later upgrades.

Great bloke, very helpful and really knowledgeable, I wish I knew about this place earlier on in my build! Made my C20XE run like never before! I’m still grinning about the whole thing now 😁😁

First met Andrew when unfortunately another engine builder in Scotland wasn't upto the job of building me a Vauxhall XE. The engine has done 0 miles and wouldn't start. I looked through the Internet as you do and come across Ap racing engines Ltd. Andrew with his crap (Scottish impression) seemed to be more than willing to help (even after a long trip down from Scotland on a Sunday) Andrew was more than willing to start stripping my new (buggered) engine. Since then I have continued to travel from Scotland to Andrew as he is extremely helpful and knowledgable when it comes to performance engines. That much so he is now building me his AP3 full XE race engine.

Extremely impressed with Ap Racing Engines and would recommend to anyone needing an engine mapping. Andrew worked around my schedule, fitting my car in late afternoon on his birthday of all days. Very thorough from start to finish in his approach and managed to get excellent power and torque figures from my engine build.

Even though Andrew was extremely busy he managed to fit in my very sick car and make some serious changes to the induction system and management. He is very clued up with the latest race technology and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.

Been down to rolling road session today, weather it's just setting up carbs or mapping, to building full blown race winning engines ap racing are the guys to go to, very informative gave plenty of feedback whilst setting up, would highly recommend, taking all my cars here from now on �

Andrew was faced with a very poorly running Nova which clearly had never been run properley, let alone been set up. After much perseverance and many hours work i ended up with a car that was driveable and actually producing some power, which hopefully will allow me to rally at least. Thanks Andrew!!!
