About Apec
APEC is a not-for-profit, artist-run complex in Hove. In its 20-year history APEC has been home to over 50 artists, gallerists, curators and educators.
Apec Description
APEC members are committed to the arts, contributing to culture locally, nationally and internationally through working with schools, communities, museums and galleries across the South East and beyond. APEC provides affordable studio workspace for arts-professionals whose experimental practices make them more financially vulnerable. It offers a secure environment for a wide spectrum of artists from recent graduates to consummate professionals, and has been a sustainable and thriving creative community in Hove since 2003.

I don't currently have precise dimensions of the available space but it would be in the region on 3mx2m. The monthly rent is £71.56, plus £71.56 deposit.

Some thoughts by one of our artists, Patrick Donohoe, on his work for our upcoming open studio as part of the Brighton Digital Festival.
This ubiquitous shape. Its tiny size and calm curves belie such power, and such intrusiveness. It has imprinted itself on our consciousness and calls to us incessantly to play with it, to listen to it, to touch it, even when it is turned to mute! An impersonal, uncaring companion, yet we want it to always be near, just in case it can give us what we need. How to ignore its siren call, to break the attachment, to sever the invisible cord that binds us. The constant tug of war to decide who is really the master and who is the slave.
