Had a really great experience there. Its not my local shop but I arrived there having been involved in a collision with a car along the high street. The guys took me in and were really kind to me when I was in shock and not really sure what I was doing. They then held onto my bike for quite a while when I was sorting out compensation and have been genuinely kind throughout. Could not recommend highly enough!

Excellent local bike shop with knowledgeable staff and a particularly good workshop. All my bikes have been bought / built here and have always received a great service each time.

Great service! I sized myself up for a bike and confidently pronounced I needed one size, then on picking the bike up (after they had fitted mudguards, tri-bars, different stem and brakes for me all for free) realised it was too big. Apex patiently helped me experiment with sitting on the two different frame sizes, test-riding the bike and endured plenty of umming and ahhing on my part, then ordered up the smaller size and transferred all the bits over to the new frame for me in good spirits and without complaint. Michael who I dealt with was genuinely happy to sell me the right bike rather than just wanting to sell me a bike.

My girlfriend went in to have her bike serviced. Unfortunately, the shop was already full, but that doesn't excuse the condescending, sarcastic and rude customer service she received. It's a shame as most independent bike shops are inclusive and friendly.

The dudes in there know their stuff, are always mega friendly and provide top quality customer service. Wouldn't go anywhere else to be honest.

Forget online shopping, go to Apex. Will sell you whats right for you (even if cheaper bike model that you had planned to buy), cheap and efficient service, same staff for years.. what else. Bike service is roughly 50% cheaper than Evans in the City.. and intra day turnaround. Have been going there for years, never disapoint
