We are delighted to announce the award winning domiciliary care company "Apollo Care" is now recruiting in your area.
Apollo Care (South Wirral) are looking to employ people who want to care and have a natural empathy for others.
The right candidate will show they are passionate about caring for the vulnerable, enabling them to remain in their own home, encourage independence and should have a ‘can do’ attitude.
... ✔ Applicants should have access to a car (for business use) and have a full, clean drivers licence.
✔ No experience is necessary, however a background of having cared for someone or have worked in a care environment would be an advantage.
We have 3 care teams:
Eastham, Bromborough, Thornton Hough, Childer Thornton,
Bebington, Spital, Port Sunlight, New Ferry.
New Team - Great Sutton, Ellesmere Port
⏰ Hours of Work:
To maintain continuity for our vulnerable clients, all applicants need to be available to work on an alternate weekend pattern
Shifts times are 07:45- 14:00 & 16:00 - 22:30.
These roles are between 10-40 hrs.

Training: We provide extensive training through a local provider and also in house so no experience is necessary.

Apollo Care (South Wirral) are growing and are looking forward to welcoming a new Care Coordinator to our expanding teams.
We have 3 care teams:
... * Eastham, Bromborough, Thornton Hough, Childer Thornton,
* Bebington, Spital, Port Sunlight, New Ferry.
* New Team - Great Sutton, Ellesmere Port
The right candidate will show they are passionate about caring for the vulnerable, enabling them to remain in their own home, encourage independence and be able to demonstrate:
✔ The core values of the company at all times. ✔ Full compliance to CQC 5 Key lines of enquiry with regards to staff and clients ✔ To provide office-based support to managers ✔ To provide weekly rotas ✔ To provide support to community care assistants and service users ✔ To provide cover for the manager in their absence ✔ Have a Level 3 or above qualification in Health and Social Care
The specific tasks a Care Coordinator will be expected to carry out are as follows: -
Assist with the daily running of the office, answering telephone, website and email enquiries and working alongside the multidisciplinary team. Show a good level of communication skills ensuring we are responsive to our client’s needs.
Assessing new clients in a caring manner in their homes, carrying out full risks assessments to ensure the service is safe and effective.
Ensuring all staff are supervised regularly while working in client’s homes (any concerns must be reported to the manager and a record kept in carers file). This is to support staff and clients alike.
Produce staff rotas and ensure all staff are given their programme on time. Auditing of documentation (staff and client files)
Assist managers with reassessment of client’s care needs every 6 months or when required
Attend any meetings scheduled in the absence of the manager and ensure all contents are communicated effectively
Have “on call” phone as agreed (once in every 8 weeks)
Ensure any staff concerns or problems are dealt with effectively and reported to managers, showing compassion when needed. Encouraging openness and honesty as detailed in the Duty of Candour.
Keep all information about clients and their families secure and confidential in accordance with GDPR regulations
Attend all training arranged by management in a timely manner, making sure that every action you take is effective for the client
