Unisex loo without a lock on one of the doors loses a star.

Provides free food every day and evening hot soup and hot meal made fresh everyday.

The Apothecary is a social location of note as it incorporates a traditional pub with good ales and a strong ethical nature. So they offer free food as part of the 'intercepted food' programme. they have the ability to put a free soft drink or coffee behind the bar, essentially you pay for a drink for someone less fortunate than you. they are available as a free venue to many community groups, from ukelele players to families, during the day.

It is situated near the top of the town so in easy reach of all of Lancaster's facilities but it is worth patronising to help keep alive a community hub.

A good place to get live music as well.

Went on a Tuesday night. Very quiet which was expected. Enjoyed listening to the piano player. Very different from years ago when it was The Lounge. Plenty of seating and good it is open late early in the week but drinks are VERY overpriced. £4.50 for a pint. Come on now!

Live acts on these days which is good! Venue is rather small but relaxed. Good selection of cocktails and shots!

New owners are putting on more live music and making this a more relaxed place than it was previously.

Good selection of cocktails at a reasonable price

Been here a few times, the first time was amazing, but the last few times have been disappointing. Hasn't been hardly anyone in, and so hasn't been much atmosphere. It's a real shame because this is actually one of the nicer bars in Lancaster and was definitely the one that stood out from my first visit.
