Appetite For Adventure

After much discussion, we have decided to withdraw from this weekend's Lymington Seafood Festival. Sadly Adie's mother passed away on Monday this week after a long and horrendous battle with Alzheimer's. It has been a really tough journey and while devastated, we are also relieved that Angela is finally at peace. Richard and Domine, organisers of the Festival have been absolutely wonderful in their understanding. We would like to thank clients, colleagues and friends alike for their messages and condolences, and we wish everyone involved with this coming weekend great success.

Another adventure completed ☑️ This time we've been travelling across France supporting a charity bike ride from London to Paris to raise money for Alzheimer's Society. Only 1 week to go until The New Forest Show so we are now ramping up preparations for the big event! We hope to see lots of you in the Member's Tea Room where we will be serving breakfast options from 8.30am, and a delicious tea menu offered every day through until 6pm!

Less than one month until The New Forest Show! This year we're returning to the Garden Tearoom and will be tempting visitor tastebuds with a range of homemade goodies. You will also find our culinary goodies in the Member’s Enclosure!

As part of Hampshire Food Festival, this Saturday we will be running a pop up BBQ grill at Hattingley Valley Wines. They are running an open cellar door day - and it's definitely one that shouldn't be missed! They will be open from 10am-5pm, and we will be there from 12pm-3pm, serving a delicious selection from the grill - made using fresh, local ingredients! It struck me yesterday that we have a fab pan. It’s lasted through thick and thin since Appetite for Adventure started over 8 years ago.. Its travelled with us all over Europe and throughout the U.K. on so many different adventures in locations including car parks, fields, lay-bys and beaches.. People from all walks of life have enjoyed delicious dishes lovingly created in it. And by feeding all those people we like to think it’s played a part in helping them raise thousands of pounds for charities. Yesterday we found ourselves in the Pordenone Velodrome, great location. As usual our wonderful team set up early that morning, prepped and cooked everything from scratch including an energy fuelled soup! The riders are loving the lunches and are fab to support. Wow what amazing food. Haven't had lamb in ages but that was just divine. Nice to get rewarded for helping out out some friends temporarily repair their gazebo :-)

We used Appetite for Adventure for our 40th party celebrations and we're so glad we did! They were professional and organised but gave us enough space to enjoy ourselves and chat. The day was set up to our requirements and nothing was too much trouble. The team challenges had us laughing from the off and we ended with some fabulous sausages for lunch, which we'd made ourselves. The location was perfect, just what what we needed and although we were only together for 6 hours, it seemed like we'd had a whole weekend of merriment - a testament in itself to how relaxing and enjoyable it all was.

Thanks Jason & Adie, we look forward to many more occasions to use you again!

We used Appetite for Adventure Ltd and Dorset mobile bar for my 50th Birthday celebrations on 09/01/16. Jason and Adie helped me have a fantastic evening, by providing both superb food and a brilliant bar! They were both highly professional and ensured that everything was in place for a memorable party. I would highly recommend them!

We used Appetite For Adventure and sister company Dorset Mobile Bar to provide food, drink and crockery, cutlery, catering equipment and a bar service for our wedding drinks reception and evening reception on 15th January. The standard of food provided was excellent, many of our guests complimenting us on how good the carvery was. They provided a delicious hot winter punch (would love the recipe for this!) as one of the drinks options. The planning, preparation and logistics that went into making our event successful was impressive, Adie & Jason really do think of EVERYTHING! We were surprised to find the beer mat that was laid across the bar was made especially for us! It's now taking pride of place on our lounge coffee table, giving us a constant reminder of what a brilliant day we had. Last, but not least, we would like to commend the staff that are employed, they were all friendly, brilliant people, working very efficiently! It was definitely money-well-spent, and we're very proud to have supported a locally-based business too! Thank you again Adie & Jason :)

Over the years, I have worked with a good number of caterers on cycle events. Appetite for Adventure are the very best and I can thoroughly recommend them. Incredible quality and variety from the back of a van!!

My son is 5 and had an excellent day climbing . Jason was brill at teaching him the basics , claytons confidence grew with each climb/ abseil . Even us non climbers had a fab day and will defo be booking again . Thank you =]

Just had a great morning out with my 6 year old climbing down in Dorset, big thanks to Jason and Aide for putting on such a great session.

Jason and Adie are wonderful people first and foremost. They create everything with passion, intregity and creativity. Jasons skills as a chef are amazing and his food is just so delicious, you cant walk away from any of his dishes. Both of them are an incredible team and as asset at any event. I can guarantee you won't find a better service anywhere else and if you need catering or bar services for your wedding, party or sporting event, honestly don't bother going anywhere else. Fun, Brilliant, Delicious and Reliable.

The buffet lunch was superb and Jason's home made cakes were just what we needed to keep us fueled throughout the afternoon's activities.

Huge thanks to Jason and Adie for organising a great day. They made my life as Stag Do organiser a load easier! We spent the morning coasteering - exhausting but amazing fun! But throw in the fact that they picked us all up from our hostel, threw in lunch, supplied proper coffee, homemade sausage rolls, and took us back all in one piece... we couldn't have asked for more.

Did a days climbing with these guys last year. Amazing. With the family my children felt so confident with J we trusted him completely. Really recommend these people they are lovely and would be great to work with if your running an event.
