Apple Bikes

Service was okay, left to stand around on the shop floor for a bit when other staff where in sight working in the back. Also took just over a week for a simple puncture repair and overall service which looking back was not worth it! 70 quid for a bike service is more expensive than an mot for my car, plus I've just read a review here how you gave out a free second hand tire to someone. Puncture repair didn't last inside two weeks and both tires went down and the gears are worse off now then when I brought it in. Not impressed and won't be returning custom.

Great store, really good people and give great service. My only observation is when it comes to the Garmin's they need to know the difference from each models and how they differ as in the Garmin Edge 1000 and the Edge 1000 tourer, which is a minor issue, but they are knowledgable on other aspects, so on balance they give a great service and they solved a problem with my bike that another bike shop up the road not connected with them didn't solve and I haven't had that problem again. I can honestly say this shop is worth taking your bike to or going to this bike shop for parts, and accessories

We purchased a child's Ridgeback Dimensions bike from here last week. Our daughter Beth was so excited we headed straight to a park to have a go and at first she was a little nervous but within a couple of hours she was doing brilliantly all on her own.

Following the shops advice we went for a 20 inch bike and having one that is light made all the difference, which is the benefit of going to an independent store and getting decent advice. Also, getting it adjusted in the shop by professionals meant that it was all ready to go without us spending ages trying to put it together and get it set up correctly!

We never thought she would be at this stage after a couple of hours. Great service...

A great little family run shop. Well stocked and they usually have everything that you could need (from energy supplements to turbo trainers). Very friendly service and the proprietors will attempt to cut you a good discount where they can.

I've just received my third Giant bike from them. This one was custom built to my spec by the chaps in the workshop and they've done a great job.

A proper bike shop. They'll talk to you for ages about bikes if you let them. They have a real passion and understanding and nothing seemed too much trouble. "Yeah, bring it back when you're ready and we'll give it a check over, just give us a bell before you set off and we'll do it while you wait or go a grab a coffee or do a bit of shopping" brilliant. Got my Brompton through the c2w scheme and they made it a breeze... quoted 6wks delivery, estimated 4wks came in less than 3wks - top
that!!!

After breaking down with a blown out tyre on a Century ride googled the nearest cycle shop and limped slowly to Apple Bikes. Explaining our situation the friendly member of staff sorted us out a nearly new used tyre to get us home for no charge! What a generous gesture to a cyclist in need- I shall make point of supporting this shop when next in the area; thank you Apple bikes.
