When Joanne Rowling graduated from the University of Exeter in 1986, did she think she would become a world-famous author? Maybe yes, maybe no - but we all know JK Rowling now.
The same could be said for one of this week's Honorary Graduates attending the uni this week - Rod MacSween. Did he know that he would be one of the world's most successful music agents and work with bands such as Led Zeppelin and Guns 'n... Roses. Who knows!
Rod and Joanne took their chances - lets hope this year's class will do the same. Everyone has a chance - some take it, some don't - but to be a JK Rowling or Rod MacSween you need to have a vision and also be driven.
Hopefully some of those leaving Exeter University this week will change the world - and remember their journey started with Apple Taxis when they were setting out in the big world!!!

Led Zeppelin star Robert Plant flew in to Exeter Airport by private jet yesterday to finally receive the £8.00 he was due for playing a gig 40 years ago!
Robert joined Rod MacSween - one of the world's most successful music agents - on stage at the University of Exeter Great Hall, when Rod was receiving an Honorary Degree in recognition of his achievements.
... Seen dropping Robert back to Xlr Executive Jet Centre is Apple Executive driver Steve Gibbings, who stayed close to him in case he went off without paying his £8.00 fare!!!

It was a happy return to Exeter University for one of the world's most successful music-industry agents - Rod MacSween - seen with Apple Executive driver Nic Hake, chauffeur to the rich and famous!!!
Rod studied at the university in the late-60s and was here this week to receive an honorary degree in recognition of his achievements.
... He now currently manages Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Guns 'n Roses, Lenny Kravitz, Maroon 5 and many more.

Graduation Week for Apple Taxis is a mixture of joy and sadness - as well as long days and nights! - for our office staff and drivers.
... After three years, we get to know some of the students very well - late nights, early morning walk-of-shame runs, station drop offs, airport pick-ups, etc - and whilst it is great to see everyone celebrate, it's also sad to say goodbye!!
Hopefully you will come back and see us again in the future.

What a fantastic start to graduation week - yesterday - where we recorded our best-ever-Monday completed jobs total - amazing!!!
Monday is normally the quietest day of the week for us, however we recorded totals in excess of what we achieve at the weekends - and year-on-year growth against the previous grad week Monday of 12%.
