We have just got back from a nights stay spa break, All fantastic from start to finish we where shown round the hotel. Spa facilities where lovely nice clean room and food was amazing would recommend to others. Will return in the near future.

We have been today for the Elemis spring and pamper me spa day, all I can say that the massage and facial were absolutely amazing, it's the best massage I've ever had. Also and not to forget the food this was also gorgeous. A mummys day off resulted in a total relax and chilled experience, will definitely be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed the spa 'indulgence' day package. Massage was great, service was excellent and all of the staff friendly, attentive and helpful. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Would definitely go again!

Stayed last night couldnŌĆÖt really fault the stay, only downside was we stayed in a garden view double room number 30 and they have like a connecting door to next door, so the couple who were next door when they arrived back were canny loud and had the TV blaring, in our case eventually I must of been knackered and nodding off, not saying this would be the case for everyone, and I believe if I was to ring reception they would have acted but they were just a couple of females so a suppose everyone is allowed a little bit fun away so let it slide but maybes something for people who wouldnŌĆÖt of let it slide to take note of, would Defo return spa time we had was half 4 to half 3 3 hour slot and we had the lot to ourselves, bottles of prosecco were ┬Ż25 and the spa lasses kept the bottle in the fridge and kept on topping the glasses up soon as they were empty, breakfast was spot on, canŌĆÖt comment on tea as we wondered down to Appleby to the Indians

Second time at Appleby manor, This time we did the 2 nights with fine dining first night and cream tea! The food was amazing,the service is amazing- always a smile and nothing too much bother! The spa is out of this world so relaxing and beautifully finished! Me and the best one will definitely be back! I definitely recommend the cream tea- best scone IŌĆÖve ever had!

Outstanding! Visited Friday with a friend for a much needed day off. We had the spa package and what can I say! the place is amazing! The spa is stunning, immaculate and feels so private. The effort that has clearly gone into this place did not go unnoticed. The gardens and flowers are simply stunning and all the staff were amazing. Lunch was gorgeous and I cannot wait to come back. Thank you to all of you for making it such a special day. X

Our stay was an absolute dream! Super-friendly staff, delicious food, a gorgeous spa, great places to chill and watch the world go by, and our room was comfy and lovely for a good rest. We will definitely be back!

Myself & 2 friends came for spa day on Monday & enjoyed it.... facial , foot massage & food was amazing! 1 of the door spas were broke so 2 of us didn't get to use it but it was fine. Before going I asked to see the menu, 1 of my friends did not really like anything on the menu , I emailed the hotel & they were so helpful, emailed me straight back & offered her something off main menu. Thank you very much

My mum and myself visited today and had an amazing time. The spa was spotlessly clean and the facilities amazing. The staff were super and very friendly. We both had a facial which was amazing and again the girls were very professional and the additional information and tips they gave were helpful.

We had a two course lunch which was very tasty and again the staff were faultless.

Thanks for a great day, we will be back!!

Me and my friend stayed here fore one night (Sunday 8th April) we booked through groupon and paid an extra ┬Ż15 each for a garden room where the doors opened right up onto the garden which was absolutely beautiful with gorgeous views! The room was very spacious with a HUGE bed which was so comfortable ( I slept like a baby ) We used the spa for 3 hours on the Sunday afternoon which was amazing... really beautiful and looks just gorgeous.. the photos on the website donŌĆÖt do it justice itŌĆÖs fabulous. We then dined in the bistro which was lovely, food was gorgeous and the staff were all lovely. We would especially like to mention a staff member named Amanda - she was lovely and couldnŌĆÖt do anything more to help us. She was so helpful and friendly and advised us on some lovely places to visit on the Monday which we did and we loved. She is so professional and kind and friendly and I think is an asset to the hotel. Although all of the staff that we had anything to do with were absolutely lovely. Breakfast was amazing especially the buttermilk pancakes ’┐Į’┐Į we loved the cosy lounges with big squishy sofas overlooking the gardens. We had a fantastic stay ... thankyou... and we will be returning in the near future with our husbands ’┐Į

Lovely girly day here with my mum and sister, we used the spa for their Spring & Me offer. Great value offer, lovely spa with good facilities and all very clean. We had lunch included which was also very nice. Would recommend ’┐Į

Just got home from an amazing overnight stay. We enjoyed a 3 hr aqua thermal journey in the spa followed by afternoon tea and then a 3 course dinner in the Bistro in the evening followed by a delicious breakfast this morning. Our room was amazing and the hotel and grounds are stunning. We will definitely be returning:)

Just back from a night stay. Got to say 1 of the loveliest places I have ever stayed at. The food was amazing, spa was lovely aswell as all the girls that worked in there nothing was too much trouble. Room was lovely and clean, beds were very comfortable. All staff were 5* very friendly and helpful. Cannot wait to go back.

Friendly staff, great food. Lovely gardens with excellent views. The Spa is well worth visiting, our spouses said the Appleby Golf course was one of the challenging theyŌĆÖve played, but both thoroughly enjoyed.

Fab couple of days at Appleby Manor, first class service as always. Spa clean and gardens well kept, scenery lovely as ever. Food first class just love being there. One thing missing which would be good is tissues at checkout because it's upsetting to leave.

Absolutely amazing. Took the Mrs for her birthday treat, she was well impressed. The food in bistro was spot on, staff were helpful, room was great and the spa was very impressive. Will be returning in the future for another visit.

Had a one night stay with Dinner and breakfast included on a groupon deal. We saved ┬Ż20 by booking through Groupon but donŌĆÖt know if IŌĆÖd book through them again just to save a few quid. We were put in the Coach House which was clean and a lovely big bed but not enough room to swing a cat, it also smelt damp and foisty like it hadnŌĆÖt been aired or heated for weeks. We had to go outside of the actual hotel in the rain to get to our room and I genuinely think we were put there because it was a groupon deal. The food however was extremely nice, we ate in the Bistro and I canŌĆÖt fault the staff or food at all. We paid extra to use The Spa which was fantastic and very relaxing. We paid ┬Ż20pp to use the Spa facilities and ┬Ż35pp on a massage each. The groupon included a discount voucher for a treatment but you had to spend over ┬Ż36 on one item to receive this so we didnŌĆÖt qualify, it didnŌĆÖt seem to matter that we paid ┬Ż110 on usage of the spa and 2 treatments so I think this is a bit of a rip off. Overall I had a lovely time in the Spa and Bistro but the rooms in the Coach House need updating and I donŌĆÖt think Groupon bookings should be discriminated against.

Two of us stayed here. Lovely location and the views were brilliant. We particularly liked the conservatory style back room overlooking the views. However the room was rather cold and the door had a large space between the floor and the door so it could get noisy at times and had a lack of privacy. I think the bathroom could be majorly updated. Shower settings were extremely difficult to control and there were cobwebs all around the top of the strange open ceiling in the bathroom. Quite a few hairs in the bath when we first arrived also. We also had dinner here and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and despite being told ŌĆśweŌĆÖre a bit busy for lattes at the momentŌĆÖ even though it wasnŌĆÖt that busy, I eventually received my coffee. It definitely has potential to be fantastic but rooms just need a little TLC!
