Applegarth Villa & Restaurant

Beautiful location interesting place. Really enjoyed a couple of hours here.

Great staff and great facilities, the suites and main building look to have been recently done out. Great location for nice restaurants on an evening. Nice views. One thing we would say is it got quite hot in our room and we could here lots of taps and flushes at night! Although to be expected I suppose in an old building. We didn't let it ruin our stay... We recommend the afternoon tea - Great value. Would come again, definitely booking the suites next time!

We have just returned from a two night stay at Applegarth Villas. If you want luxury this is it. The accommodation was second to none, the food was some thing else and the owners and staff were very welcoming. They couldn't do enough for you. We were upgraded free of charge to an ultimate luxury room by the owners which we thought was a very nice gesture. Will definitely return and recommend to our friends.

Great location just a street away from the very centre of bustling Windermere. Lovely, friendly welcome, fantastic accommodation with a hot tub in the balcony, proper coffee machine, Bluetooth speaker, internet connected TV, the list goes on.... Mood lighting through the suite is a great finishing touch. We stayed 4 nights and are there in the evening twice. The food is fantastic - plentiful, local and cooked to perfection. The breakfasts are filling, ask for more if you've room.... Large private car park at the rear, tops off our stay as there's no worrying about moving your car or getting a ticket. Treat yourself.....

Just stayed a couple of nights at the Applegarth and have to agree with all of the previous reviews re the welcoming friendly staff and the great food.
The room was large, clean and had a good view to the back to the hills, if anything I would say that the bathroom was on the small side.
