Appleseed Digital Design

Appleseed is a digital design agency, meaning we design digital products. In practice, that primarily means designing and building websites, but we also design visual identities (i. e. the part of a brand that relates to what you see - fonts, colours, logo and overall visual style) and digital assets such as reports, flyers, infographics, and even app interfaces. Appleseed was built to provide high-quality digital design to small businesses, for reasonable prices. We're a small family business based in Kent, where we live with our two small children and our one ginormous dog. Working in similar fields, we've both overseen several website builds, and have always felt there is a gap in the digital design sector that needs to be filled. Traditional design agencies turn out very high quality work, but are out of the question for most small businesses (many of them cost upwards of £100k for a multi-page website). But working with a freelance developer or doing it yourself, though cost-effective, is often unsatisfactory as the site is rarely designed well. When overseeing site builds we were left feeling frustrated and out of pocket again and again. So we decided to plug the gap, and provide the middle ground ourselves: agency quality work at reasonable prices.
