Went here as a treat after walking up and down Nicky Nook. We sat outside in the sun and enjoyed a farmhouse platter. Tasty food at reasonable prices too. Outside area is quite varied. Some tables under the trees, some out in the open, some on the lawn. There’s a small wooden play area for kids.

We ate at the cafe at the weekend whilst staying on site in a bell tent. The staff are fab and very welcoming/accomodating. James & Katie were brilliant throughout our stay and the food was delicious the times we ate there. Plenty of choice for food, drinks & for your sweet tooth! Will definatley return & 100% recommend the bell tents to anyone!!

Took my boys for brunch yesterday, great meal, pleasant staff and quick service as always. We love the whole feeling of the place.

This place is a hidden Jem. Fantastic food even more fantastic cakes beautiful gardens loved it. Lovely walks around. The only thing I wish they would change is to be able to have the cream teas. You have to order them in advance. It is pet friendly and even has a play area for children. If you haven't been go there you will love it.🎂🎂😘

Myself and my partner along with our dog Bailey visited the "Applestore" yesterday - Bank Holiday Monday , for breakfast before a gentle walk around the grounds and a loop of Snow Hill .

We both chose the scrambled eggs with fresh salmon , and Bailey went for sausages .

All arrived cooked to perfection and tasted great - yeah alright , I swiped a bit of Bailey's . The pot of tea that accompanied our breakfast was as usual served in a splendid tea pot with China cups and saucers - very British , and again was perfect .

Walk completed , it was back to the Applestore , Scortons best , for "Eton Mess" cake and lattès enjoyed in the garden .

What a great place the Applestore is . It's more than a cafe , and at the same time not at all pretentious in any way . What it does , it does very well . The food is always lovely , the staff are always capable , the location is superb , and the price is more than acceptable for its quality . We will definitely be back .

Lovely welcoming Cafe , our second visit for breakfast took my sister for her first visit who also found to be excellent value for money . Only gripe the first time we visited we got coffee in a pot which we thought was a lovely touch , this time on Sunday when we visited we just got mugs , was still nice but I had expressed to my sister about the coffee pot . We will be back .

I booked the Apple Store for afternoon tea for 11 people, the service was fantastic. Drinks was served straight away then soon came our afternoon tea! It was perfect, great value for money at only £12.50 a head! Boxes was proved to take home all the cakes we couldn't eat. Overall a great afternoon for birthday celebrations and I'll definitely return again! ☺️

I booked a table for the Festive Lunch with a friend. It was absolutely delicious! Our table was beautifully set in the true Applestore style and the food was just amazing...so tasty and so much of it!!!! Everything was homemade...even the gorgeous mince pies that came with the coffee at the end (that we had to take home as we were so full!!!) Definitely great value...and we'll most certainly be booking again for next year. A real treat...thank you :)

Great place to have some breakfast before a walk up to Nicky Nook! Or a great place to grab some lunch after the walk. Lovely cafe, gorgeous setting and great parking too!

User

Great location housing a lovely cafe, with lots of seating space giving you ample opportunity to dine on the delicious menu..particular attention was made to the cakes and we weren’t disappointed. Highly recommend a visit!

User

Gorgeous scenery and a lovely little cafe with yummy food and a great atmosphere. Theres even a brilliant play area for the kids. They even do loads of gluten free food and mostly home made. One of my favourites.

Found this by pure luck on a walk with my wife and children. Absolutely fantastic place with great staff, superb homemade food and brilliant adventure playground for the children. Will 100% be returning.

Beautiful outdoor and indoor cafe with a magnificent view of Scorton . Outdoor play area for the kids and lots of dog walkers stopping for a drink. A great find - 11 mins walk from Scorton village. And plenty of walks around the cafe . Very relaxing and just had a drink but the food looked great . Will be going again soon

I went here for a scone with jam and cream and was highly impressed with the size of the lovely scone presented before me.

Unfortunately, I was brought the tiniest pot of jam and another tiny pot of whipped cream and expected to cover the whole large scone with just these. I ended up leaving half of it because of this.

I really don't understand why these tiniest of pots are given out which to me are not proportional in this case. You are also given a large knife that just manages to get it out.

C'mon Applesstore, let's consider this in the future, theres nothing worse than having to leave good food over a little extra whipped cream...

Came here for lunch on Wednesday. Beautiful scenery and settings. Food was ok but £3.50 for a portion of chips? You have no baby changing facilities?? I had to change my son's dirty nappy on the grass. For being so kid friendly this is really disappointing. Definitely room for improvement.

Today Friday 7/7/17 we found the cafe dirty. Tables still covered in crumbs and general detritus from previous diners. Other tables not cleared away. Waitresses sullen and abrupt. Toilets a disgrace.

Today the Apple Store was not chic it was grubby not shabby but dirty.

And that's only for starters. Seafood salad plenty of it. I agree. But the most tasteless prawns and smoked salmon. I suggest you change your product supplier.

You really do need to get your eye back on the ball. The decline has started

Have visited many times and always enjoyed it but today was a disappointment. I ordered a sandwich which after my friend had finished hers still had not arrived. When my order came it was wrong so I took it back, the waitress was rude and snatched it out of my hand. When she returned she had the same sandwich just with some filling removed! It was meant to be a hot sandwich but was now cold. There was no apology. Very disappointing experience
