Applied Equine Behaviour

About Applied Equine Behaviour

A. E. B. now offers home study certificate courses in theory and in practical.

Applied Equine Behaviour Description

The philosophy of Applied Equine Behaviour is to promote welfare and training methods that understand and respect the horse.

Vision
To provide education that is accessible and affordable

To see horse ownership become safer, more ethical, fun and rewarding.
To enable people to achieve their goals and get the results they want.

Aims & Objectives
When we are in the presence of a horse we are always training it in some way. We are constantly influencing how our horses respond by either encouraging or discouraging certain behaviors, although we are often unaware of it.

The ultimate objective is to teach a deeper level of understanding about the factors that influence equine behavior and help people to : -

Understand the horse's needs, how he interacts and learns.
Communicate more effectively
Improve safety
Develop a relationship with the horse based on mutual respect and trust.

Please note that this is ALL plastic bottle tops, yep, any size, I have been collecting for a year and as a low consumer I am amazed at how many are in my draw, can you imagine if we could get all the large businesses on board and gulp, the hospitals, care homes, nursing homes, restaurants et al ! lets do what we can, these lids should not be going into landfill and all credit to lush who have been recycling them back into their products for a massive 8 years !!!

Thank goodness, lets hope the day will come when we see a ALL horses living in herds and foraging in hedgerows ! the zoos have done it for the mammals they house, its bizarre that the horses have been the last to be recognised !
