Appoint Us is a Community Interest Company that provides a range of support services to people both professionally and personally. All of our staff are trained in their relevant areas and all have DBS checks. They are all passionate about people and take pride in the service they deliver. We have several departments within the organisation. . . . a Social care Department that offer Independent Mental Capacity Assessments, Independent Care Reviews, Welfare Assessments, CHC checklists (and attending DST meetings) Advocacy (Including specialist advocacy), Access to Independent Occupational Therapy Assessments and many more independent services. . . . Coming soon BIA /DOLS (Best Interest Assessor / Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards) assessmentsWe have a Therapeutic Services Department offering Therapeutic Arts including working with Art, Textures, Photos Music Dance etc and Pet Therapy using a variety of animals. All of our Therapeutic services can be delivered to individuals or groups, care homes and hospitals. Our Support Services Department can provide Companionship (to prevent isolation) A Sitting Service (To give carers a break) Shopping along with or for a person, trips out, support with moving accommodation and many moreWe are Corporate Appointees appointed by The Department of Work and Pensions which means as an organisation we are approved to manage benefits for people who are unable to do so. We can also help with budgeting. We offer an Appropriate Adult Service by PACE trained staff. We offer funeral planning. We also offer access to legal services for help with Wills powers of Attorney and Court of Protection.
