We recently attended a celebration event at Nuffield Health North Staffordshire Hospital in Clayton to showcase our services. A raffle was held during the event with half of the funds raised donated to Approach. Sue Talbot-Moon from the Hospital popped into our office earlier this week to let us know the good news and present us with a cheque for £73.00. Thank you to those involved at the hospital who organised the raffle and for selecting Approach to benefit from the funds raised.

Thank you to the Newman family who have donated £150 to the Men in Sheds Newcastle group in memory of their husband and father, Geoff. Geoff was an active member of the group and thoroughly enjoyed the camaraderie amongst the gents, playing dominoes and pool and taking trips out, especially to the RAF Cosford Museum. The Men in Sheds group are planning on using this donation on a trip out to take a steam train ride; an activity Geoff would have loved. Geoff was a popular member of the group and will be missed by the other members, staff and volunteers.
