British-engineered, race-tested bicycles. This is Aprire. Aprire was founded by Phil Dempsey in 2009. Phil is a qualified engineer who specialises in carbon lay-up and stress analysis. He has previously spent over a decade designing frames, suspension systems and brakes for companies such as Hayes, FUNN, DMR and Banshee Bikes. Currently based in London, Phil designs all our frames in-house using methods that include FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics). Our frames have spent several years in development. An Aprire bike delivers an experience that is second-to-none. It's probably the most responsive, sensitive and best-handling bike you've ever ridden. We've brought things back to basics, simple and effective design principals is what we aim for. We have complete control over the design of our bikes, carbon lay-up being the key to a brilliant ride. Using different grades of carbon in different areas of the bike, layed up specifically to Phils instruction, we create stiff yet comfortable frames. Our bikes are made in carbon factories, not frame factories. Over 3 years of production the engineers working on the frames gave us valuable feedback on our carbon layup maps helping to create our range today. Customer and stockist feedback has been phenomenal and we're excited to see more people riding our bikes.
