Aqua Fish Swim School

Aqua Fish Swim School is a new swim school set up in a warm, private pool in Finchampstead, Wokingham.

Lessons are currently available for pre-school upwards. One 2 one and adult learner lessons are also available.

All lessons will be in small groups of no more than 5 children and provided in a safe, friendly environment.

Lessons start from £10 per 30 minute lesson.

I follow the Amateur Swimming Association's (ASA) teaching framework to help swimmers learn the core aquatic skills to become safe, confident and competent in the water.

Lesson's Available

PRE-SCHOOL 1
This class is aimed at children between 3 – 5 years old who are beginners to swimming and are not yet water confident e. g. Not able to submerge their faces confidently, float on their front & back.

PRE-SCHOOL 2
This class is aimed at children between 3 – 5 years old who have previously attended swimming lessons and /or are water confident e. g. submerge their faces confidently, float on their front and back.

STAGE 1
For school children who are new to swimming lessons and are not yet water confident e. g Not able to submerge their faces confidently or float on their front and back confidently.

STAGE 2
For school children who have passed Pre-school 2 or Stage 1 and are water confident. e. g. able to submerge their faces confidently, float on their front and back, paddle unaided for a short distance, regain an upright position from front and back.

STAGE 3
For children who have passed Stage 2 or are able to travel 5 metres on both the front and back without the use of buoyancy aids, able to regain upright position unaided and blow bubbles into the water.

STAGE 4
For children who have passed Stage 3 or are able to travel 10 metres on their front and back unaided with a basic technique. Confident to jump in and submerge under water. Can perform a push and glide with a log roll.

STAGE 5
For children who have passed Stage 4 or are able to kick 10 metres of frontcrawl, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly with good technique and swim 10 metres of a stroke.
